Hello, I would like to make a formal complaint against "Bob the critter gitter." I had [redacted] spray for bed bugs. He felt it was only necessary to spray my sons bedroom and not ours and the bugs, subsequently, spread throughout the entire house. My wife and my son were present during the treatment and they both agree that he was not generous with the treatment and we still had bugs. Bob came back a few weeks later and sprayed a little more but we still had the problem. I asked to make good by refunding half of my money, approximately $200, and he said that the house was taken care of properly and said that he would not take any further action. Further, he said that the house was probably "re-infected" after he performed the service. I was forced to call [redacted] and ended up paying an additional $750 and the problem was solved by spraying the entire house. Also, we received a one year guarantee on the service. It has been one year now and we are still enjoying a bug-free house due to the professionalism of [redacted]. My main concern is to make the public aware of the poor results from "Bob the critter-gitter." Additionally, [redacted] claims that he sold the business and the decision to refund any money is not in his hands as he is simply a technician now. This service was completed over a year ago (2/22/13) and was followed up on for addition service, at no charge to the customer, on 3/5/13. This complaint was filed on 7/7/14. After extensive conversations with the customer and the technician mention in the complaint, Bob the Kritter Gitter has no reason to believe the service was not carried out properly. In addition the customers verbal complaints seemed, at times, to be more personal towards the service technician and unrelated to pest control or the service mentioned in the complaint. For these reasons, Bob the Kritter Gitter is not returning half of the customers bill which was $300.00, not $400.00. A few other notes on this account : 1.The customer signed a no guarantee waiver on the service. 2. the technician who carried out the service was a licensed pest operator3. service was made in accordance with product label In addition it is critical to mention that when it comes to bed bug service, Bob the Kritter Gitter strives to make the customer aware of varying results and time frames for results as well as offering the same guarantees on services as the above mentioned companies.
