Inside Out Painting and Power Washing

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Mary Ann claims that the work we had done had nothing to do with Inside Out Painting however that is not true When we decided to have our basement painted, we called the Inside Out Painting main number given to us years earlier by Owen (the owner) when he personally quoted the work after painting my neighbors house Mary Ann never said Insider Out Painting was out of business Instead, she explained that Owen had entrusted his Pocono operation to a painter named Todd while he concentrated on Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs She also claims we owe money which is equally not true If you take a look at the attached receipt you will see that it was issued by Inside Out Painitng and clearly states Paid in Full One of those payments was a $check mailed to Mary Ann's home address which she subsequently cashedWhat is clear now is that Mary Ann had transacted our work under the name of Inside Out Painting without the owners knowledge and when a portion of the job started failing she found herself unable to stand behind the work Instead of explaining the situation and working with us on a solution she told us it was our problem and to go away When we persisted and she subsequently found herself in hot water with the owner she began fabricating her current position that it had nothing to do with his company Again, we called Inside Out Painting to initiate the job, were never told they were out of business and have a receipt from them indicating full payment The unprofessional and often insulting manner of our exchanges with her are well documented in the original complaint text the breaking point coming when she called our local police department and accussed us of harassing her The truth is we had stopped all communication with her weeks earlier despite a continuing barrage of text messages, voice mails & emails from her If anyone was being harrassed it was us We are no longer looking for resolution and sincerely hope that Mary Ann can take an objective look at the way she put Owen (the owner) at risk by falsely transacting business under his company's name She needs to know that treating people in an insulting, aggressive and derogatory manner is not acceptable Regards, [redacted]

Inside Out Painting has nothing to do with this matter In fact the ex owner never saw or painted for [redacted] I don't work for the company The owner been out of business ILL very ILL for years!

On Oct 30, 2014 Owen, the owner of Inside Out Painting and Power Washing, contacted me agreeing to send me the $350 refund I had been requesting as compensation for the failing paint job documented in this complaint (#[redacted]).  I subsequently received that check on Nov 1, 2014 and am writing to indicate that I find the resolution satisfactory.  I would like the record to state that I have found Owen to be a responsible owner interested in standing behind the work performed under his companies name.
I will not however clear the name of his former Sales Representative Mary Ann.  The unprofessional and often insulting manner of our exchanges with her are well documented in the original complaint text.  We appreciate Owen's ulitmate response and sincerely hope that Mary Ann can take an objective look at the way she put him at risk by falsely transacting business under his company's name.  She needs to know that treating people in an insulting, aggressive and derogatory manner is not acceptable.
Again, Owen is a responsible owner who stands behind his work.  Consumers should not hesitate to contract with Inside Out Painting and Power Washing while under his direction.
