InsightExpress Reviews (13)

I took a survey answering how old I was and I wanted to tell them that I'm 17 but 17 was not included in the options available. There was an option for less than 17 and then one for 18-20. 17 is not a valid response in this survey and I'M PISSED THE [redacted] OFF LIKE WHAT THE HELL WHY CAN'T I BE 17 [redacted] YOU.

Review: I am another complainant who has taken a couple of their online surveys, only to be jilted on my compensation upon completion. It is not a matter of the small amount of money, but rather the principle. There are other surveys that I could have taken and not wasted my time with this one for no return.Desired Settlement: I would like my compensation (via the survey club that provided me with the link-in this case, [redacted]) and they just need to do better with their tech. I will submit these e-mails until they tighten it up.

Response:

The InsightExpress’ propriety

panel, [redacted], does not have anyone associated with the [redacted] email address in its database. InsightExpress does not do

business under the [redacted] name.

If the complainant can provide additional details on the survey

topic and/or compensation they believe they are due, we can do additional

research to see if a different company is also providing respondents to a

survey on our platform via their panel.Thank you!

Review: This window popped up on my email to take a survey. I tried clicking on the X in the top right of the window to close the box and it won't close. I tried the No thanks line and still it will not close. The only thing that will work is the Take the survey or the Privacy line. Can't get rid of the window, am going to have to close and shut off my computer to get rid of the window!Desired Settlement: They need to fix this window so that people can deny the survey!

Business

Response:

The invitations are being received on the websites they visit. The invitations are being offered by the website(s) and / or their advertisers and each new visitor to the website may be presented to an invitation to take a survey. If the visitor has an issue closing the invitation on the website, there is the possibility that the website has NOT implemented the survey technology properly and that is causing the multiple invite issue. InsightExpress has in this case asked the advertiser to cease spawning invitations on this website, as we have received another communication with similar input from another website visitor.

Their advertising attaches to anything that you are viewing and will not let you close it, you can only take their survey. I would NEVER use any of their services because of their predatory nature. BUYER BEWARE

Review: I do online surveys for years with this company. on 10-25-13 I completed a study and got no credit. I sent them an email right away. I got no response. since then ive sent 4 more with no response. they owe me points and I want what I EARNED.Desired Settlement: look up the survey for that day and pay me what I EARNED and an apology for treating a long time member so rudely. there support dept needs to learn common manners.

Business

Response:

InsightExpress' Sampling & Panels team has checked and confirmed we have received 2 emails from the panelist associated

with [redacted] address. It is

possible the other 3 emails the complainant refers to were caught in a

filter. We have added 300 panelists points into this panelist’s account

for the error. Additional steps are being taken on our end

to reassess any emails filters in place to avoid such incidences in the future.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Sincerely,

[redacted] thank you Revdex.com!!

Review: This company has been intrusive in my system, forcing me to answer a survey when I did not want to. My choice to deny participation was ignored.

I want them to stop intrusion with so called surveys that literally block me on my computer as I am rendered incapable of closing their message and working because of their system that blocks me from moving where I want to be and what I want to accomplish!!!!Desired Settlement: Just stop invading my system!!!!

InsightExpress has not been contacted by this individual concerning any issues they may have been having prior to this notification. The invitations they speak of are being received on the websites they visit. The invitations are being offered by the website(s) and / or their advertisers and each new visitor to the website may be presented to an invitation to take a survey. Whether they accept or decline or they let the invitation disappear on it's own, the visitor is no longer considered a new visitor and a browser "cookie" is created / updated to make note of that. If the visitor's browser settings have been adjusted in such a way that it interferes with the "cookie" process, then the visitor may not be properly noted as having been offered an invitation so there is no need to offer another one.

Sometimes the routine maintenance of clearing out old cache & cookies on a browser and restarting refresh takes care of a lot of the problems people run into while browsing around the web. This simple solution may very well take care of any issues this visitor might be having.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the partial settlement response from the business.)

The representative of InsightExpress, LLC is not telling the truth when he/she says I have not contacted the company with my complaint. The response portrays me as well any other computer users as naive who do not know what they are doing. Instead of engaging in negative characterization of their victims, the officers of this business should acknowledge their wrongdoing and desist any activities aimed at invading computers and paralyzing the work that people have the legitimate right to pursue without indue interference with unsolicited requests to participate in online surveys. I have not seen any additional invasion since the time of my complaint; and I hope InsightExpress, LLC will stay away from my system as they have elected to do even if they display arrogance and do not want to admit guilt. Please stay away from my system for good! Thank you.

Review: They are using virus-like advertising that causes new tabs to be opened on Chrome browser on a timer without user action. Maybe it is a bug in their programming, but I dont think so. There is no opt out, and all attempts at blocking through the browser does not work. At my office, it happens on internet explorer and at home on chrome. I am tired of these "legit" companies using this sneaky form of advertising. Please make them stop this intrusive approach.Desired Settlement: I want them to explain to me how to turn this off. I already know you cant do it through normal means

If

you just don’t want to see ANY invites at all, then clicking on our "Opt

Review: company solicited me to fill out a survey while I was checking my e-mail. They go under the guise of providing insight for consumers but it's a lie.

While checking my e-mail, this company's online solicitation popped up offering insight into consumer issues and they invite you to take their survey. When you click on it, it directs you to certain sites and the Revdex.com is one of them so I reviewed their standing with Revdex.com and they had an A+, but it was not too clear what they did. I proceeded to take the survey, and it was nothing but a solicitation from lawyers looking for people to join a lawsuit for some kind of heart condition. When I clicked I didn't have a heart condition, they immediately shut me out and I could not access their page. I want this company stopped and prevented from intruding their online solicitation into my computer in every way. I don't want it appearing ever anywhere on my computer again. I've never heard of them. I in no way invited them to solicit me. They are deceptive in that they lead one to believe they are going to provide insight into consumer protection. In fact, they are preying on people to become plaintiffs in a lawsuit, which may or may not be real or true, and are simply looking to collect fees from naïve or gullible people who just aren't equipped to see through this trickery. It seemed to me what they're attempting to do borders on criminal behavior. Desired Settlement: PLEASE CONTACT THIS SO-CALLED CONSUMER INSIGHT COMPANY AND DEMAND THAT THEY AT NO TIME IN THE FUTURE PRESENT THEIR ONLINE SOLICITATION AD ON MY COMPUTER IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER. I HAVE TWO E-MAIL ACCOUNTS: [redacted]@AOL.COM AND [redacted]@GMAIL.COM.

PLEASE HELP ME PREVENT THIS COMPANY FROM SOLICITING ME THROUGH EITHER OF THESE ACCOUNTS FROM THIS MOMENT FORWARD FOREVER.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

Hello,

Please know that InsightExpress does not host solicitations, direct marketing or calls to action of any kind.

In regards to receiving popup survey invitations, we are not sending them to you. You are getting them at the website(s) you visit so there is no list to be removed from.

Either the website itself or one of its advertisers / clients is running a survey campaign and visitors to the website may be offered an invitation upon their first visit.

There are thousands of websites offering millions of invitations throughout the day. If you'd like us to investigate further, then we would need the following information from you. We would need to find out what website you were visiting when you received this invite. Please be as specific as possible and also include the steps you took to get to that location.

Alternatively, we also have a "debugging" link (link below) which is a webpage that will check to see if your cookies are enabled and then display the particular campaign(s) you might have come across

If you could copy and paste back the information produced by the debugging link, please send it back along with the address of the website / webpage you were on when the invitation appeared. This could help us to locate the same campaign you were having a problem with and allow us to further troubleshoot the issue.

Regardless, we have complied with your request and have added you to our company "never email list". If you would also like to take steps to ensure you do not receive online pop-up invitations from InsightExpress as well, please follow the instructions below.

Please NOTE: You MUST have cookies enabled in your browser for the Opt Out feature to work.

Most of the time, deleting cookies and temporary internet files (be sure to uncheck "Preserve Favorites" if you're using Internet Explorer) and then utilizing our "Opt Out" feature found on our FAQs page (link below) will prevent future survey invites from being offered, as the survey technology knows to check for the "Opt Out" cookie first and if found, it will NOT show any invites.

This group had a pop up in my email. It was misleading. I tried to NO THANKS and close it, but it wouldn't disappear. It would ONLY allow you to continue, which is objectionable, and I think a lawsuit should be brought against them for forcible spam.

Review: Advertising is a pop up that does have a close area to click but it will not close. It will not allow any negative answer that might get it to go away. It insists you take a survey (which I attempted in the hope that after completion it would quit blocking the weather information I am trying to access). It will not go away no matter what I have tried.Desired Settlement: GET THEM TO PLEASE REMOVE THEIR UNWANTED ADVERTISING AND I REQUEST NO FURTHER CONTACT BY THIS BUSINESS IN ANY MANNER (INCLUDING FURTHER ADVERTISING).

Review: OPINION-CENTRAL HAS SUDDENLY STARTED PUTTING POP UPS ON MY SCREEN AND MY GRANDCHILDREN ARE BEING TERRORIZED BY IT..THEY THINK THAT THERE IS A MONSTER IN THE SCREEN COMING AFTER THEM AND THEY ARE NOW HAVING NIGHTMARES. I TOLD THE COMPANY I AM NOT INTERESTED IN THEIR HARASSING POP UPS BUT THEY CONTINUE TO SEND THEM. THIS HAS TO STOP IMMEDIATELY. THEY ARE TERRORIZING CHILDREN.Desired Settlement: I WANT THE POP UP TO STOP IMMEDIATELY.

Business

Response:

The survey invitation the complainant received was served on the website they were visiting. The website or one of its advertisers must be running a

survey campaign and they are using one of our product tools.

Whether a website visitor accepts or declines the invitation, the website visitor should NOT

receive another invite because the browser would have created a

"cookie" (much like a receipt) to say the website visitor has been offered an

invitation so do not invite this visitor again.

If the complainant is receiving multiple invitations on the same

website in a short period of time, then something is wrong with the browser

saving its “cookies”.

Most of the time making sure one has ENABLED cookies then

deleting cookies and temporary internet files will clear up the issues. The website visitor may receive another invite, but it can just be declined and

that should the end of the invitations received.

If the complainant does not want to see ANY invites at all, then

clicking on our "Opt Out" link found on our FAQs page (link below)

will prevent future survey invites from being offered. Clicking the link will

create a “cookie” that the survey technology knows to check for it first and if

found, it knows NOT to show any invites.

Review: I was a browsing puppies with my 3 year old daughter at [redacted] and this advertisement (from InsightExpress) to take a survey pops up over each dogs face to where we were unable to see the dogs. When I tried to close the survey, the X would highlight, but nothing happened. When I clicked on NO THANKS, it highlights but again nothing happens. I tried everything to get this to close and it's stuck there. However, if you click take survey, it magically works! You have to take the survey to get this pop up off. It's really a shame that this is allowed to go on. I would NEVER deal with a company like this.Desired Settlement: It needs to stop. You are wasting people's time.

Review: I was looking at [redacted] (on the living category) this company popped up in a square box which positioned right in the middle of the view of which I was looking at and requested I take a survey - in the square box their was an indicator to request not to take the survey "no thanks" and to click it. I clicked it and it still took me to the survey, I tried it three times, each time it took me to the survey. It also had an indicator to "take the survey later" - indicating to click it and it did the same thing. So it was forcing you to take the survey in order to go away. I could not look at what I was wanting to view, since the company positioned it survey box right in the middle , so I gave up. Most people will not take the time to complain about companies like this, so they get away with it. Their service to their client is not beneficial and rude to their customers.Desired Settlement: Have the box for the survey fully functional, working properly and the Box for the survey should not pop up in the middle of the view of which one is looking at. DON'T FORCE PEOPLE TO TAKE A SURVEY!!!
