Review: This is a survey website and me (including about 50 other people) completed a 3 week study where we were promised an amazon credit voucher of $100 including extra $20 vouchers for completing certain activities in a timely manner, etc. We were all told we would receive it within 2-3 weeks after the study close and tomorrow, December **, 2013, will be a month since the study close. We have yet to receive any sort of response from the company to let us know if they are behind with the holidays, etc. We all tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but this is still going on and none of us have heard anything. We are resorting to filing a complaint in hopes that it will help. This was 3 weeks of our time and out of our busy life to complete this study and we all expect to get paid or at the very least, receive a response as to when we will receive our voucher. We have contacted the moderator of the study, [redacted] or[redacted]) and she stated she was contracted by InSites Consulting and didn't have any power over payment. Please help us remedy this!Desired Settlement: I expect myself, and all other participants to receive their voucher in a timely manner otherwise even further action will take place

I completed a 3 week study through InSites Consulting which hired Rebecca as the moderator ([redacted]). We had to log on daily (this ran over a holiday as well) and complete certain tasks related to tv. If we completed certain tasks or went above and beyond, we would receive additional $20 amazon vouchers in addition to the $100 minimum we were told we'd receive for the study. Attached is a welcome email from the study. I was told I would receive the payment 2-3 weeks after the study close. The 3 weeks would have been December [redacted]. We are now going on 5 weeks with no payment. I have tried to contact the office several times and spoke to [redacted]who stated she was hired as the moderator and had no control over the payment for the study. I only get voicemail when I try to contact InSites Consulting and still, no payment has been made. Since they have failed to follow through with what was told to me for the study I have been forced to issue a complaint. I am requesting the minimum $100 to be paid out immediately with my additional vouchers for completing the discussions in a timely manner.

First of all we would like to apologize for the delay in payment of the incentives. Especially because [redacted] was a great contributor in our online research community.

We indeed promised to settle and send the incentives (Amazon vouchers) before the holidays.

But, because of a combination of the illness of the person responsible for handling the incentives and the consecutive closing of our company during the holiday period (company is closed every year between December **and Jan **). We have only been able to process the incentives in the new year.

What efforts have we done to solve this issue :

- We did receive an email on December **where we were informed about the delayed payment. We replied the next day to apologize and to reassure we would solve this as soon as possible after the reopening of the office.

- Within 2 business days (on January **) we paid the incentive to all participants.

- We paid everyone an extra incentive of $25 to compensate for the delayed incentive payment

We would like to thank again all our participants for their hard work and patience and apologize for our error.

[redacted] received an incentive of $165, which is in line with your activity level and including the extra $25 incentive as a compensation for the delay. Below is a breakdown of the different incentive components that make up the total of $165. • Base incentive: $100 • Extra $20 for finishing the first phase of the project • Extra $20 for completing the task of the final week on time • Compensation for the incentive delay: $25 [redacted] maybe believes he is also entitled to an additional incentive for the best collage. 7 people also received an additional $20 incentive for their collage. The 7 participants were announced in the newsletter on November [redacted] and [redacted]. Unfortunately [redacted] was not selected for the additional collage incentive and as a result his total incentive is $165. He also refers in his complaint to other members in a similar situation, but at this moment we are not aware of other complaints. [redacted] asked us to revise the calculation of her incentive, which we did and which she also confirmed in the community lounge (“Thanks again - it's been dealt with”). Hope everything is clear now.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. I still believe that the company should have and could have handled the situation better. I will know in the future to not do any further business with them.
