Complaint: I am rejecting this response because:Mr Hernandez #1f497d;">It seems like a few things need to be clarified so we fight this battle on the same field My name is [redacted] I am [redacted] ’s HusbandI hope that you are not suggesting that All homeowners of a single home need to be present in order for there to be dialogue, communication and initiation of a work order This just wouldn't make sense So, let’s be clear from this point on that Tomoko and I are one in the same You saw both Tomoko's name and my name in the document sent to you previously This is very clear On the same hand, we have never had dialogue with you! Speaking of how stories changed (as you eluded to in your letter) not once did you ever reach out to my Wife to try to resolve the issues that we wanted to discuss with you, either by phone or in person You never allowed us this opportunity Instead, our request to speak with you was dismissed and we were relegated to the “complaint form” department of your office Our dialogue was with your office staff only and even that was limited as you most probably have “caller ID” on your phone system and your office stopped taking our calls Your staff ignored my Wife’s request for dialogue/conversation with you You never once stepped up to the plate to acknowledge us Instead, your office staff was instructed by you, undoubtedly, to tell us to fill out your complaint form Basically, it was beneath you to take a moment to speak with us Mr Hernandez, you set the course by choosing not to speak with us which was your first mistake in how you operate your business and how you treat your customer Your second mistake is assuming that we were going to take legal action which was never stated by us directly to you This was something that you yourself assumed and created from the time of our first complaint to your office If this were the case, surely, you would have heard from our attorney by now We never threatened you or your business in any waySo, your basis is unfounded and there is absolutely no reason why you couldn’t pick up the phone and deal with us in a positive professional manner To show further neglect by you towards your customer, (towards me and especially my Wife), our complaint which was submitted to you as you directed was ignored Completely ignored! You, nor anyone from your office acknowledged the written complaint! We waited, and waited further and heard nothing! I am rejecting this response because:Mr.

field.
My
name is [redacted].  I am [redacted]’s Husband. I hope that you are not

are one in the same.  You saw both Tomoko's name and my name in the document sent to you previously.  This is very clear.
On

changed (as you eluded to in your letter) not once did you ever reach out to my
Wife to try to resolve the issues that we wanted to discuss with you, either by
phone or in person.  You never allowed us this opportunity.  Instead, our
request to speak with you was dismissed and we were relegated to the “complaint
form” department of your office.  Our dialogue was with your office staff only
and even that was limited as you most probably have “caller ID” on your phone
system and your office stopped taking our calls.  Your staff ignored my Wife’s
request for dialogue/conversation with you.  You never once stepped up to the
plate to acknowledge us.  Instead, your office staff was instructed by you,
undoubtedly, to tell us to fill out your complaint form.  Basically, it was beneath you to take a moment
to speak with us.
Mr.
Hernandez, you set the course by choosing not to speak with us which was your
first mistake in how you operate your business and how you treat your customer.
Your second mistake is assuming that we were going to take legal action which
was never stated by us directly to you.  This was something that you yourself
assumed and created from the time of our first complaint to your office.  If
this were the case, surely, you would have heard from our attorney by now.  We
never threatened you or your business in any way. So, your basis is unfounded
and there is absolutely no reason why you couldn’t pick up the phone and deal
with us in a positive professional manner.
To

your office acknowledged the written complaint!  We waited, and waited further
and heard nothing!  This begs the question; if there is no dialogue, how could
we have threatened legal action?  Again, you neglected your ethical
responsibility as a business owner to make some type of
effort to resolve this issue which would have entailed a simple phone call.  You
chose not to do this.   It was lack of action or inaction on your behalf which
triggered our call to Revdex.com.  We had no one else to rely on to try to get you to
respond to us thus, our formal complaint against inspect pros. Your
warning in the complaint
form sent to us  “DO NOT make any repairs without authorizations. Repairs made
without company approval will not be covered regardless of validity.” Could this
be the reason you have been waiting for such long time to respond us? Perhaps
you assumed that we would have to repair our issues sooner rather than later
which would mean you have no liability? Perhaps you thought we would
disappear?
Now,
to the service you provided while on our property;  if you take time to read the
complaint that you asked us to submit you will know that we are talking about
issues NOT written in your report.  Again, what you reported in your inspection
were all repaired during escrow. The purpose of the inspection is to bring to
light issues with a property that may provide leverage for the buyer in
negotiating repair expenses with the seller.  Certain aspects of your report
were misleading and suggestions were either made or not made which is not the
responsibility of the inspector.  Therefore, we had no basis for action with the
seller.
Mr.
Hernandez, here is what I am asking from you and if you agree you will never
hear from us again.  We want the $485.00 inspection fee returned to us and more
importantly an apology written to my Wife for ignoring her.  If you satisfy this
request (which is the ethical thing to do) we will not suggest that you are
admitting to wrong doing.

Review: Based on a recent complaint filed against Inspect Pros, it is clearly evident that Inspect Pros has no integrity.

We too cannot get Inspect Pros to return our calls. The issue is not only lack of care or experience concerning our property but also lack of customer service.

Inspect Pros stated that we had 5 - 8 years of roof life remaining on our home which we have now found to be grossly incorrect.

After making an unannounced visual inspection of our home, our homeowners insurance says they can no longer continue to insure our property until they receive a "Roof life expectancy letter" from a licensed roofing contractor stating reaming life of the roof.

In our attempt to meet HO request, we have learned from 5 different Licensed roofing contractors that in fact our roof should have been replaced 2 years ago.

Because our back is now up against the wall with HO insurance which Inspect Pros is clearly aware of, we now realize Inspect Pros stall tactic; hoping that we will replace our roof (as the insurance company is stating) which would terminate Inspect Pros relationship with us, i.e., that proof of Inspector Pros negligence will now be eliminated and we have no case against them. THIER LACK OF ACTION IS DELIBERATE!

Had Inspect Pros exhibited experience and care, we could have approached the seller for a remedy. Instead, this unexpected financial burden has rested on us which we will not tolerateDesired Settlement: See Complaint Text
