Inspector Dave's Home Inspection Service

We hired Inspector Dave to inspect a house we had a contract on this past summer and had a tight timeline so we were expecting a thorough inspection. When it came time to check out the attic, Inspector Dave stuck his head in and decided he couldn't inspect it because the space was too tight. Since then I've been all the way through the house from one end to the other through the attic, it is tight, but totally accessible. I've even had several contractors and Hvac specialists through there since then. Because Inspector Dave wasn't willing to try and get in there, none of the guts of the house were inspected (plumbing, electrical, Hvac and ducts, insulation, etc.) and we got a list full of useless issues like "leaves in gutter, and birds nest on exterior light." This lack of effort caused many expensive problems located In the attic to be overlooked. And while he didn't put in the effort to get to the most important parts of the house, he did muster up the energy to charge us full price. Very disappointed with the job done, I would highly recommend going with a true professional rather than someone with a 50's era shtik that doesn't want to mess up his 50's era hairdo
