Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because InspectPro LLC has decided to ignore my complaints and offered no counter to come to a reasonable arrangement; they simply want to walk away and pretend they had no hand in this situationAs a sole consumer I had no visibility into their operations, their credentials, or their integrity, and as such I worked hard to protect my family while respecting their right to run their businessIn so attempting to protect myself and ensure that their company carried the qualifications and insurance they claimed, InspectPro LLC came to the conclusion that they "didn't have my trust"This seems a ludicrous thing to say, after asking me to sign a contract that forfeited every right I carry as a consumer in these United StatesThey were asking for my trust while extending none to me, and in the end chose to leave me in an incredibly difficult position because I tried to balance the scales to protect myself, my family, and my home.I asked in my original complaint that they complete their end of the contract, or compensate me for the financial burden I assumed as a result of their walking away from our arrangementThey have now refused both, and offered no counterIt would seem that InspectPro LLC and Mr [redacted] have no interest in negotiating, and would rather, again, offer a "take it or leave it" position, much like their contracts and business model espouseI would also like to note that I have operated in good faith, despite their delay in responding to my complaint; I have posted no negative reviews of their business, filed no further complaints with other agencies, and have done no harm to their business outside filing a complaint with the Revdex.comEven with these gestures of good will, Mr [redacted] has chosen to besmirch me by insisting that "any relationship with [redacted] will most likely escalate beyond a complaint to the Revdex.com" without any evidence to support this claim.Despite these repeated demonstrations of ill-will, I am still willing to come to the table and negotiate a mutually agreeable resolution, if InspectPro LLC is willing to honor their pledge to the Revdex.com of resolving complaints with consumers amicablyIf InspectPro LLC chooses not to honor this pledge to the Revdex.com, I'm happy to let these communications and my original complaint speak for themselves to future consumers.Thank you for your time [redacted] and for the opportunity to resolve this professionally and responsibly Warm regards, [redacted]

Thank you for your attention to this complaintI trust you will handle it appropriatelyI am theowner and founder of InspectProWe are a home inspection company that has been in business foralmost two decades and have performed tens-of-thousands of home inspections for home buyers in theDenver
metro areaWe have been registered with the Revdex.com from the beginning of our existenceTomy recollection this is the first time we have had a complaint through your servicesWe havesuccessfully earned and kept the trust of clients as a well-respected home inspection company.Since many people do not know what comprises of a home inspection service, we do our best toinform our customers of the service they will receive when they call our officeThen, we further defineour processes through our pre-inspection agreement that they receive electronically after the inspectionhas been bookedThe agreement provides the customer our method and manner of performing theinspection, the standards we follow and specifically details the limits of our liabilityA copy of ourstandard inspection agreement must be submitted to and accepted by our E/O insurance underwriter. Some form of this agreement has been in place on our very first inspection years ago and will remainin force for all of our future inspectionsMinor alterations have been made over timeWe try to setreasonable expectations by providing our client a pre-inspection agreement in advance of the service. We have required each and every one of our clients to sign this agreementWe will not perform theinspection until we have a signed agreement in placeAgain we do our best to obtain the trust of ourclient, before, during and after our service for themThis is paramount to our company. It is rare for me to talk to a client prior to the inspection but *** *** asked to speak to me directlyabout InspectPro and my qualificationsWe spoke until all of his questions were answeredHis lastquestion was do we have E/O insuranceI told him we did.I don’t know when *** ***’ went under contract with his home perchanceI do not know, whenor how many other inspection companies he pursuedAs stated in the complaint and according to histime line, sometime later, after our telephone conversation he asked and received a copy of our E/OinsuranceI cannot recall any of our clients’ personally requesting this, but we compliedI guess myword was not good enough; I did not earn *** ***’s trust in our first conversation, so I assume hewanted proof. Also stated in his complaint, after receiving our agreement, he then submitted to us his revisions to ourpre-inspection agreementHe was told that we could not accept itDid *** *** provide you a copy of our inspection agreement that he completely changed in scope and spirit? Again, it wasobvious to me we did not have *** ***’s trust.Later he then tried to get our office to accept a letter of concerns with the signed agreementTheseactions were unacceptable to meI again I felt that we did not have *** ***’s trustI called himand told him he should find someone else to do the inspection; I assume, all the while and up to thispoint and as he stated, that he was seeking “other inspection options.”During this same telephone conversation, when I told him I would not do the inspection, he changedhis mind regarding the contractHe stated that he is okay with our pre-inspection agreement as is,without exception, this same agreement that he found to be “highly concerning” and calls “extremelyone-sided.” I could not understand this flip-flop attitude, from someone who thoroughly read ourinspection agreement, surgically removed several provisions and meticulously altered others of, in hiswords, called “egregious contract.” Now he is fully okay with it?I could not in good conscience believe this and simply accept this as an exercise of misunderstandingor misinterpretationI cannot and will not ignore *** ***’s previous actions and statementsIngood faith, I did not want him to be pressured or move forward into something he so strongly objectedtoIt seemed to me that he was about to do something that he did not want to do and thus the “cowsout of the barn” commentNow my trust has been broken, I cannot ignore his wordsAt this point Istrongly doubted *** ***’s intentions and refused to continue this conversation and his negation ofour services and contractBecause of *** ***’s actions we never reached an agreement of service. He states that he understood that our contract is “industry standard.” He did not submit anything to usin writing in this regard until this complaint. To my knowledge there are several hundred listed certified home inspectors in the Denver metro area.Even in this busy climate our company often has availability within the next day or twoIf we areavailable to perform an inspection, we have never up-charged for our serviceI’m sorry that during*** ***’s efforts of pursuing other “inspection options”, while negotiating with us, he was unableto get a better deal or someone he may find to be more trustworthyWho he used and what he pays ishis choiceWe have no control of his actionsAdditionally, a common and often used acceptedpractice in the real estate industry is to request a time extension*** *** has many options, notjust what InspectPro was willing to provide. In our judgment it was best to stop entertaining *** *** hiring tacticsNow we must reject anothertactic of *** *** in a demand for us to perform the inspection or for compensation for anothercompany to do the workAgain these are unacceptable to us.For years we have built a reputation of trust, we have an A+ rating with the Revdex.com*** *** haschosen to recklessly and maliciously tarnish it with the words he chooses to uses like “negligence” and“procrastination in bad faith.” Making this public causes harm to our companyWe were concernedthat any relationship with *** *** will most likely escalate beyond a complaint to the Revdex.comWebelieve it is clear, the position that *** *** finds himself in was a result of his own actions.Thank you for your time in this matter.Respectfully,*** * ***InsepctPro, LLC

I am rejecting this response because InspectPro LLC has decided to ignore my complaints and offered no counter to come to a reasonable arrangement; they simply want to walk away and pretend they had no hand in this situation. As a sole consumer I had no visibility into their operations, their credentials, or their integrity, and as such I worked hard to protect my family while respecting their right to run their business. In so attempting to protect myself and ensure that their company carried the qualifications and insurance they claimed, InspectPro LLC came to the conclusion that they "didn't have my trust". This seems a ludicrous thing to say, after asking me to sign a contract that forfeited every right I carry as a consumer in these United States. They were asking for my trust while extending none to me, and in the end chose to leave me in an incredibly difficult position because I tried to balance the scales to protect myself, my family, and my home.I asked in my original complaint that they complete their end of the contract, or compensate me for the financial burden I assumed as a result of their walking away from our arrangement. They have now refused both, and offered no counter. It would seem that InspectPro LLC and Mr. [redacted] have no interest in negotiating, and would rather, again, offer a "take it or leave it" position, much like their contracts and business model espouse. I would also like to note that I have operated in good faith, despite their delay in responding to my complaint; I have posted no negative reviews of their business, filed no further complaints with other agencies, and have done no harm to their business outside filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. Even with these gestures of good will, Mr. [redacted] has chosen to besmirch me by insisting that "any relationship with [redacted] will most likely escalate beyond a complaint to the Revdex.com" without any evidence to support this claim.Despite these repeated demonstrations of ill-will, I am still willing to come to the table and negotiate a mutually agreeable resolution, if InspectPro LLC is willing to honor their pledge to the Revdex.com of resolving complaints with consumers amicably. If InspectPro LLC chooses not to honor this pledge to the Revdex.com, I'm happy to let these communications and my original complaint speak for themselves to future consumers.Thank you for your time [redacted] and for the opportunity to resolve this professionally and responsibly.
Warm regards,[redacted]
