Email received from Business: [redacted] Ms [redacted] states no one offered to "measure her again" Inspire has a long history of amazing customer service as seen in our online reviews The staff goes above and beyond to make sure clients feel taken care of and understand how measurements and construction work They come in on off hours, connect with clients and family, and are enthusiastic about all of their brides and clients knowing this is a very important day All staff members come from a strong background of excellent performance as well as each receiving wonderful reviews by clients Inspire has won the Couples Choice Awards year after year based on votes from customers We pride ourselves in going above and beyond as seen in innumerable reviews The recommended seamstress has a long history with Inspire and has been the best in her field and praised for her expertise Inspire also has a strong business ethic and policy and procedure structure When an issue is unable to be resolved with staff it is always my responsiblity to make sure we can have a rational discussion as to how the issue can be resolved in an ethical and logical manner The process starts by explaining to each client how dresses are measured and how the order process works according to each company I began explaining this to Ms [redacted] , at which time, she interrupted numerous times and hung up the phone The next step is to take the dress to our seamstress and see how things can be fixed Most often the fix is simple We discuss how we can help and the issue is resolved However, I was not given a chance to offer this information to her due to the abrupt disconnection If in fact, it was determined the dress was constructed wrong, the company would immediately replace it if it was not altered When we received this complaint, unfortunately Ms [redacted] had had the dress altered by a 3rd party I was concerned Ms [redacted] obtained personal information without written permission from each other client as all of our clients are our first priority at Inspire I asked if the other members of the bridal party had agreed to have her take all of their measurements with her She said this in fact was the case The terminology alleged is far from accurate as I have a long history in the world of business being an owner of thriving businesses for many years and this would be far from professional All clients deserve to understand how the process works, what we can offer as a resolution, and a feeling of being respected Each client is treated as an individual There were no other calls reported from other members of the party Many tried dresses here with staff and were completely satisfied The attachments she refers to did not come with with the letter that I received I have reviewed the documents described Ms [redacted] is correct - sizing 18-is a company charge, sizing and up is a charge Some of the distributors are for an extra charge Inspire decided to do a flat rate of I am going to compensate Ms [redacted] the difference between the and of the discrepency she is referring to Ms [redacted] also included attachments of the "old Alexia Bridesmaid dress from years ago" I appreciate her diligence of providing this information, however, different designers vary in sizing as well the construction of each dress can differ dramatically in fit We are glad she was able to wear the dress for the wedding

I am rejecting this response because:
The owner and employee I talked to never offered to measure me again or to make things right. They only said we can recommend a seamstress. Their process was never explained to me over the phone, the owner continuously kept yelling and saying, “I did not call you to talk about how your dress doesn’t fit. I called to say you stole personal information.” This is when I hung up on her because she did not seem to value me as a customer nor did I feel like a priority.
When the owner says, “I was concerned Ms. [redacted] obtained personal information without written permission from each other client as all of our clients are our first priority at Inspire. I asked if the other members of the bridal party had agreed to have her take all of their measurements with her. She said this in fact was the case. The terminology alleged is far from accurate as I have a long history in the world of business being an owner of thriving businesses for many years and this would be far from professional. All clients deserve to understand how the process works, what we can offer as a resolution, and a feeling of being respected.”
The Inspire owner’s employee handed me the packet with all the measurements. The Inspire employee could have simply said, “We do not do that or let me call my manager to check.” I hope this issue was addressed with her employee, as I did nothing wrong and all of the bridal party had agreed to me getting their measurements. Inspire’s owner is trying to take out the faults on me. That is an employee issue. As a client, the process was never explained to me nor did Inspire reach out to me to try and fix the issue of my dress not fitting, they never offered a resolution to me.
The owner could have called me back to explain that they could fix my dress or replace it if it was constructed improperly. How am I supposed to know that Inspire would have helped me with fitting my dress if no one ever informed me of that information? Inspire may be known for their awesome customer service but did not treat me with this awesome customer service.
I do not agree with Inspire’s owner’s response.
