Inspired Photography

I hired [redacted] as my wedding photographer. The wedding was August 23, 2014. I have been trying to contact her for the last 2 months. I was only asking for an estimated time when the pictures would be ready and I expressed my frustrations politely. I sent her 3 emails (September 21, September 28, September 30), 1 text (October 14) and 1 phone call with a message (October 20). I have not received any response. I have already paid [redacted] $1500 (down payment), which is about half of the total cost. Because of the difficulties I experienced in the last 2 months, I would also like a discount for my wedding photos.

Breach of contract and non-response to communicationsI was strongly recommended by a friend to use Inspired Photography. I contacted Inspired Photography to take pictures for my wedding on September 19, 2015. Contract was signed October 1, 2014 and sent via email on October 2, 2014. This was acknowledged via email by the photographer on October 8, 2014. We agreed a payment installment schedule. The cost of the package we chose was the Elegant Package costing $2,200. There were various terms of the contract but the T&C which were breached are as follows:1. Contact from the photographer was supposed to be made one month before the wedding to discuss details of the day - This did not occur. As I live in England, I was flying home for the wedding and tried to contact her on via email on September 6, 2015 to arrange the final 4th installment of what we owed and to arrange to meet to discuss the day. Another email was sent September 9, no reply. On September 11, I went to the studio as listed on their website. To my surprise, I was told that they had moved out of the space for a few years. I sent another email and text message on September 12 to the photographer. I received a reply by text message on September 13. We discussed the specifics on September 14 after we met and final payment was made on September 17.2. Engagement portrait session with 11x14 print - This was not possible due to the lack of communications from the photographer but this is part of the package we had paid for. She agreed to give us a credit towards our wedding prints when we discussed the day on September 14.3. Online gallery - This states in the contract that it would be available for up to two months. After the wedding pictures, she confirmed verbally this would be ready in a couple of weeks. It is now 21 weeks after our wedding and this remains outstanding with many of my family and friends asking for this.4. Pictures edited within 8-12 weeks - As per the package, we paid for 'fully edited and retouched images...high resolution on 24 karat Archive Discs...includes contact booklet...and release form...' I have not had one communications since my wedding date (September 19, 2015) and it is now 21 weeks later which is nearly twice the stated time in the contract to have this completed by. I have repeatedly called, sent emails (to every email address that I have for her which is about 4) and text messages asking for an update. My friends have tried to call on my behalf and contact her re text messages. No one has received one response.5. Two revisions to photo book design - We have not seen one photo book design and the contract states this will take up to 60 days with us being able to make revisions to this design.[redacted] We are not sure how to get in touch with her as she does not answer text messages, phone calls or emails. Desired SettlementI want full fulfilment of the contract as agreed and I want a discount of 50% due to the terms and conditions of promises being unfulfilled over twice their stated times.

I hired Inspired Photography, [redacted], for my wedding August 23, 2014. I had difficulties getting a hold of [redacted] prior to the wedding. My contract with Inspired Photography states that I will be contacted 1 month prior to the wedding to discuss wedding details. It wasn't until a few days before the wedding that I was able to elicit a response from Inspired Photography regarding wedding details (after numerous phone calls, texts and emails); however the response came after my mother had informed Inspired Photography that we had no option but to seek an alternate photographer in the event that Inspired Photography was not available.I paid $1500, about half the price, in July of 2013. The contract states that I must pay the full price prior to the wedding. A few days prior to the wedding, when I was able to speak with [redacted], we discussed payment of the balance owing. She was to send me a request via [redacted] so that I could pay the balance owing, but I never received an invoice.Since the wedding, I have been unable to get a hold of [redacted]. I have called, texted and emailed numerous times with no response. It has been very stressful. I have recently got a lawyer to send a demand letter, which she has not responded to. The contract says "editing may take up to 8-12 weeks." I have not received any pictures or had any contact with Inspired Photography since the wedding day. My husband and I would really like good quality wedding photos on discs like the contract states. Due to the breach of contract and the difficulties with communication, I feel like it is only fair that a 25% overall discount be applied.

My daughter ([redacted]) got married August 23rd, 2014 and hired Inspired Photography ([redacted]) to do her wedding photos. [redacted] already broke her contract by not contacting [redacted] 1 month prior to the wedding to arrange wedding photo details. We paid $1500 in Sept. of 2013 with the expectation she would contact us at least 1 month before the wedding. When she did not contact us, [redacted] attempted numerous times to contact her, and 1 week before the wedding made many more attempts. She did not respond to e-mails, phone calls or texts. Four days before the wedding we tried to contact her every hour trying to get a response. We managed to find another photographer who was willing to photograph the wedding. We sent one last text to [redacted] saying we had found someone else and if she did not respond that day (Tues. Aug 19th) we would assume she wasn't interested and we would use another photographer. She responded immediately to that text and photographed the wedding. Now, it is 10 weeks after the wedding and we again have been trying relentlessly to contact her. She does not reply to e-mails, phone calls or texts. I sent one last text today to say that if she didn't contact us today we would get ahold of the Revdex.com and/or call a lawyer. Still no response and not a single picture.[redacted]Desired SettlementWe would like good quality photos from the wedding and a discount on the full price because of the difficulty we have had contacting her.

Inspired photography was hired to video our wedding and they haven't delivered our video tape.My wife and I were married last year on Spetember 13th 2014. We had hired inspired photography to be our videographer for the wedding. They showed up that day and did their job, however for the past year we have unsuccessfully been able to contact them in order to get our wedding footage. Obviously that video is important to us and we would like to have it, even if its just the un-edited version. We've tracked down phone numbers but havent been able to get a response, recently we heard they moved to Red Deer Alberta, and we tracked down [redacted]s phone number (306-[redacted]). My wife has tried to reach [redacted] numerous times through phone and email but has been completely ignored. Its been a year and they haven't delivered their promise. We're beyond frustrated and would do anything to retrieve that video from our wedding day. Hopefully this helps.Desired SettlementWe simply want our wedding video delivered to us.
