Customer ordered the custom french doors and on the day of installation while our crew was unloading the doors at their home, the HOA representative told them that they were not allowed to install the french doors in their homeI made no representation to the customer regarding whether or not the
doors would be allowed by the HOA, and certainly no return authorization was issuedI did tell the customer that in time we may be able to find another customer that would want those specific doors, and then I could refund her money once the doors would find a new home. All calls have been returned to the customer and she has been thankful for the communicationsAt this point in time the company has paid out mush more than the customer's deposit amount, and it has stored the doors in our facility awaiting a disposition for the productAs soon as we find a suitable home for their special order doors we will follow through with our commitment to help them get their 50% deposit back

Mr *** does not mention in his complaint that our crew did indeed arrive at his home to do the work, and unfortunately the large piece of glass broke as the guys were handling the glassThe glass had to be reordered, causing the delay that he refers toIn talking with Mr *** we agreed not to
send the same fellows out to do the work, and this is causing further delayWe should be able to schedule the work to be done this coming week, and if not, then certainly by Monday the 30th

*** is making representations that are entirely untrueThe bottom line is that until we find a customer to buy the door that *** contracted to have installed, we will not be able to resolve her complaint, especially in light of the misrepresentations

The 3 door locks installed by Installation Services all became loose and malpositioned within 2 months of their installation.  It took the company more than 6 weeks to contact me to set up the repairs.  The gentlemen sent to fix the front door lock which had become loose, and barely operable, attempted to fix it 3 times. They did not have the right equipment, nor the right knowledge/experience. I was told it was fixed, but when they tried to remove the key it was stuck in the lock until they hammered and banged the lock. The resul of their fixing it was that not the inside and outside handles were damaged, the locking pins were broken and stuck inside and the lock barely functioned. I requested a new lock and only 1/2 of a lock was brought to my house wrapped in plastic wrap and duct tape.  This was not the equivalent of the new lock I had purchased from this company. I then had a qualified, certified locksmith do the repair, which was done efficiently and professionally. I request this company to reimburse the costs of labor for the repair which they were unable to complete after ample time.

Dear Revdex.com,As previously stated we are prepared to reimburse Ms Peterson for the $125 that she elected to spend to have others work on her entry door hardware, rather than have us install the warranty replacement part. However we still need the old part back which needs to be sent in to the manufacturer on a warranty return authorization. We prefer that the Revdex.com help with the exchange and transaction since all reasonable communication with the client seems to have vanished. [In light of Vendor's failure to meet scheduled performance dates on multiple occasions, Vendor's response is unacceptable without a written commitment by Vendor to complete all work on a firm and unalterable date to be agreed to by us.  Such date must be as early as possible and must be WELL IN ADVANCE of our scheduled departure from [redacted] on November 26 for a 7 month absence.]

The past three months I have had only 2 calls returned of over 40 calls. I was told I was going to get my full refund since he told us that our HOA would not have issues with these doors since he has installed them here in the past. I told him I should contact the HOA and he assured me that it is not an issue. Later when we told him our HOA does not approve these doors he suggested that he sneak the doors in late at night and hide them from our HOA we told him we do not accept them idea. He then said not to worry that we will get our refund minus a drive charge of $50 since they came out to our house. I agreed this in hopes I would get $1370 of the amount I paid minus $50 bucks only. After a few weeks I started calling an he didn't return any of my calls and I kept calling. His own employees told me to contact Revdex.com or take him to small claims court. They even said his taking our money was fraud since we never had the doors or had them installed from day one. We have now been waiting for our money back and having Revdex.com help us. Also, this is the first time I have ever heard of the 50% refund which is a lie and I would have never agreed to this!

We have provided a new replacement part for the entry handle on ms Peterson's door by purchasing a new whole lock and leaving the respective replacement part with her. She would not allow us to install, claiming that we are incompetent. She claims that lic # 971500 is not valid in her complaint...

which is not true and easily verified. She is asking for reimbursement for work performed by others even though we were ready, able, and willing to change out the part when we delivered it to her home. She stated that she wants $125 reimbursement for others, and I am willing to comply through the Revdex.com if this will resolve the matter. It is truly unfortunate that this job represents the only complaint against our company, especially given the spectacular looks and quality of the entry door we installed. Also, we have corrected the issue of not receiving the original complaint and followup in March and April which was caused by a spam blocker. Interestingly however, the notice that you sent us about our rating being upgraded to A+ was received.  Thank you for your help in resolving this matter.[redacted]

This will confirm our telephone conversation of a few minutes ago to the effect that my complaint against Installation Services of San Diego (#[redacted]) has been resolved satisfactorily.
