Installed Building Solutions II, LLC., is writing in response to the complaint that was filed by Ms*** ***, *** *** *** ***, Wayzata, MinnesotaWe do not deny that Ms*** had an issue with her closet shelving, particularly one piece of closet shelvingWe are aware,
and have attempted to remedy the issue continuously since the initial call, that a section of shelving had pulled out from the wallPlease note, that the shelving was installed correctly, using anchors in the sheetrock to properly secure the shelving to the wallOur suspicion would be that the weight that was placed upon the shelving piece, was excessive, causing the shelving to pull out of the sheetrockWhen Ms*** notified us of the issue, we did go back to the home and re-install the shelvingAt which time she was not content, as there was touwork to do in the closet due to the shelving falling outOur project manager, went then to the home to inspect and repairA paint color sample was provided to Ms***, with the intention that things would be touched up, even offering to repaint the entire closet, which was not sufficient to her likingAfter her denying we provide this service, the project manager, then searched Home Advisors, to find recommended painting contractors, not Craig’s List as she has referenced, and offered to Ms*** three painting contractors that she could choose from, that we would pay to come and repaint her closet for herAgain, she declined this offer thinking that we had made selections of “Craigslist killers” to come into her home to perform the repaintingWe then offered to her, that we would pay the invoice from her own painting contractor, in addition to crediting the portion of the shelving that had pulled out from the sheetrockAgain, Ms*** declined the offer, demanding that we cut her a personal check for $We have declined providing her payment of $450.00, as she is demanding, as we feel that is excessive in what the repainting would costWe believe that we have attempted providing the customer with fair solutions repeatedly, but have been unsuccessful in any of our attemptsMany staff members have spoken with Ms***, we promptly made the repairs, have offered solutions to remedy what is continued to present itself as an issue and have not been able to reach an agreement with Ms***
