Medical information and billing was sold to a 3rd party whom I do not have a contract with
I reached out to mcLeod several times to discuss the violation of my privacy HIPPA laws and the resolution neededI have no contract with either of the collection agencies who have gained my medical informationPer HIPPA laws my personal and medical information is not to be shared or discussed with a 3rd partyTherefore, cleod has violated this law and the 3rd parties in receipt of this collections is also in violation

I received a bill in May of from a service done in June I called the billing department to inquire about the bill and ask if we could compromise with a settlement of 1/the amount of the billI was told 'I don't think so but I'll check and call you back'I wrote a check for 1/the amount of the billIt was cashedI also had a note in the envelope with the check I sent asking again for a 50% settlementI wrote that I would assume this request was agreeable unless I heard backI received a call from Pee Dee Collections Services (PDCS) in September stating I owed $At this point, my credit score has now been affectedI told my story to the PDCS (Florence, SC)The lady I spoke with also said she'd check with her manager to see if there was anything they could doI said I'd wait to hear backI received in the mail, today, my first written bill from PDCS for the amount stated aboveI've never heard back from PDCS other than this bill.This is my second bill
