She in fact came into our office and applied for Home Telephone Service at $to begin with a monthly bill of $Plus Tax each month thereafter. The applicant stated "she had just purchased a trailer next her son" and she wanted to get service of which, I initially spoke with her and put her information in the computerAs with every customer, we describe the manner in which takes place to have their phone service connected and that "have to inform them it could be at least Business days" before service could be connected
Ms*** stated she was in a rush to get her service on, for what reason I do not recall, but I personally contacted Agent Support in attempts to expedite her phone service
The following day, the computer showed (***0*) *** *** - ###-###-####, as service in working orderAlthough Ms *** stated she had no dial tone, I informed her the computer shows her service is in working order to the "D" mark, the point of our responsibility for phone service to work which is to the outside of the residence, in a grey box, normally in the same vicinity as power meter. I spoke at length with Ms.*** and advised her of her options to have a repair person come into her home and trouble shoot the problem, of which at that time she stated she was only "renting" so I advised most landlords, as I too have rental property and most fix any problems inside. Simultaneously as I spoke with Ms*** I chatted via online with our support center of her problem where they informed me of her rude nature of a previous call and where she had stated "she was getting an attorney to get her money back because her phone wasn't working". While I had Ms*** on the phone I explained to her what customer support has previously told her that her service was in fact "on and working", that she apparently has an inside wiring problem. She demanded a refund because her phone wasnt working, all the while her phone was in service and working to the "D" mark, or our responsibilty to the outside of her residence.
She stated her landlord wasnt going to fix the problem so I suggested to her, that being her phone s rvice was on and working, she may temporarily run a phone line outside to the "D" mark and when plugged in, service would be operable until which time she could have lines repaired, but until said time, the phone would work. Ms*** began to make rude comments in reference to our customer service department and this office and experessed her disgruntledness, so I asked her of her earlier comments to our customer service department about her turning the matter over to her attorney to which she stated "I didnt say attorney, I said state attorney general". I replied, "Ms***, your phone service on and active, and thats what you paid for"Ms *** paid for Home Telephone Service, recieved working service. We are not responsible for any inside wiring problems or phonesFurthermore, Ms*** phone service as reported by the computer, is presently active and in working order stemming from dispatched a technician in July. It is also reported Ms*** has not paid for the charges where the technician repaired faulty telephone jacks inside her residence.
I have been in business in the same location for over years in the loan, home phone, real estate business as well as own and operate Phenix City Motocross. My staff and I extend genuine customer service to all of our patrons and strive to assist each account as much as humanly possible. It is disturbing to read of Ms*** inaccuracies and statements.
