Review: Hello.I had my taxes done by Instant refund Tax Center on Jan. [redacted], under the impression that I would get a free tablet along with my completed tax return. I did not. I called on a weekly basis only to hear "the tablets will be in next week". 4 months later, still no tablet. I consider them a scam, since they have posters, fliers and advertisements throughout NYC with the offer of "Free tablet with every completed tax return". This proved to be a lie, so I'm reporting them to the NYC Revdex.com, and various other fraud complaint agencies.Desired Settlement: I want the free tablet that the company advertised. Since I filed my taxes Jan. [redacted], I'm certain "while supplies last" doesn't apply here. I filed Jan **, knowing taxes are not due until April **.

Review: I filed my income tax in April 2013 and was told that once my taxes were filed I would receive a tablet which was the main reason I filed my taxes with this center. After I filed I was told that they were out of tablets at the time but they had my contact information and would get in touch with me when the tablets come in. I called numerous times trying to find out about the tablets. I received a call in May that my federal check was in. The next day I went to the office I filed at and it was closed. I did this for 3 days straight. I looked on one of there handouts and found another address and number,which then I went to. I was told that they did not see anything at the time in their computers, but explained that the person who did my taxes had called me stating my federal check was in. So this office sent me backk to the office I orginially filed and stated that the person would be there. I then went back to the orginial office. While standing outside of the office which you chould clearly see no one was in the place while I was standing in front of the office I was consentlly call the second office I went to and the first office. The person on the phone of the second office kept telling me that someone was there while I'm standing in from of the place and it was closed up. Finally the person on the phone from the second office stated that he made a mistake and the person would be at a third location in Brooklyn, and for me to go there. Once I arrived there I was told that they did not see my check in their computers. One man did call the person that prepared my taxes on his cell phone and he stated that my check should be in their computers. So for some odd reason I was told to go back to the second office to obtain my printed out check. This went on for a little while regarding they didn't see it. Finally after informing them that I would make a police report regarding this matter they found my check.. After that I ask about my tablet and once again I was told they had my contact info andDesired Settlement: I would like to receive my state and city return check and the tablet that they stated I would receive once I filed with company and never received.
