To Whom It May Concern:We at Computer-Tech-Services have went above and beyond for this client and spent approximately hours trying to fix his laptopThe LCD screen worked one hour then stopped We took apart the laptop over times testing and trying everything known to man but to no avail it wouldn’t workThe laptop was originally dropped and the cracked LCD screen cabling had a short circuit whereby the video cable plugs into the motherboard itself due to the dropSometimes electronics work just fine when dropped but not always the caseWe ordered a screen replacement for the laptop and installed it successfullyThe screen worked for a short time then went out completelyWe called the client and explained everything to him and we explained the laptop would still work using HDMI cable to another HDMI compatible monitorThe client said he wanted the data off the hard drive so we told the client we would remove the hard drive from the laptop and go ahead and insert it into an external hard drive enclosure so he could access his data via usbWe refunded this client $dollars in cash and he accepted it plus we drove to [redacted] Road to meet the client to give him his laptop and all equipment backWe also purchased $of additional parts for this clients laptopI will explain the breakdown of all parts and labor below.Labor Received:$cash includes labor and screen replacement and all applicable taxes.Parts:$for the new LCD Screen/Touchscreen/Digitizer plus $for shipping and Handling$for usb speed external hard drive box.Additional Parts that go behind inch Display and Video Cables to the laptop Motherboard:$64.04Refunded Customer:Computer-Tech-Services refunded $dollars cash and also input the customers hard drive in an external hard drive enclosure box that is worth $plus we purchased $of additional partsComputer-Tech-Services paid out $to the customer and spent hours working on this project to make the client happyI can honestly say that as a company we went above and beyond for this customer

*** *** The LCD screen that he states cost $was suppose to be returned for a refund the $was never approved this money was spent after I told the company I did not want to put any more money into this and asked them to send the screen back and get a refund and they also told me it was $for the screen when it was ordered so there is a large discrepancy on the amount and as for the hours worked the computer was only sent in for a screen replacement all other work was done without my prior knowledge and even without my knowledge the companies sign states $flat rate which can be found both on social media and online

To Whom It May Concern: We at Computer-Tech-Services helped the gentlemen on 02-06-with a screen replacement for his laptopThe laptop was in real bad shape as it had been dropped from a counter top in the house over feet and cracked the glass real badlyWe explained to the customer we
will attempt to replace the screen for his *** *** inch touch screen but not always will it work later because sometimes a drop of this magnitude will cause motherboard damage and the screen will just quit working at allWe ordered the screen for the customer and received it within days and it turned on and worked for hour then suddenly stoppedThe motherboard in this *** has a slight crack near the video connector and this is the reason why the video and touchscreen want workTook the unit back apart and worked on it for multiple days and also called *** and talked to them about the issue and was informed the hard drop is the reason why the video and touchscreen want work againWe called the customer and told him the issue and told him we needed to buy additional parts whereby it connects the digitizer and screen and to see if this would potentially fix the issueWe purchased these parts for an additional $and the customer said he would cover $of this costWe installed all additional parts and still nothing would resolve this matterThe next morning I called the customer to report to him we could get him a refurbished motherboard for an additional $shipped here and we would install it freeThe customer said no and we packed up the touch screen and shipped it back to the manufacturerWe called the customer and explained to him we would refund him $dollars and include an external hard drive enclosure so he could retrieve all his data from the hard driveThe customer never made it by to pickup his laptop so we offered to meet him at *** on *** Road and pay him the $cash and he excepted this so we met and gave him his $and he signed our paperwork stating he agreed and received his $cash in returnI believe our company has made an honest effort and has gone above and beyond to make this customer happyThe customer has stated that he didn't receive a call back from the owner and that nothing would have made a changeMy response is why did he except the $dollar cash refund and sign our paperwork and now all the sudden wants a refund of $Computer-Tech-Services received $cash and has already refunded $cash and purchased $with additional parts for the touchscreen inside and has also took the hard drive and inserted it into an external hard drive enclosure worth $including applicable taxes and spent countless days and hours working on something that the customer wouldn't do himselfNow the customer wants a full refund like we didn't spent the time and our own money just to try and make this customer happyCustomer states in his complaint that he needs this extra money to buy a new laptopWe wish this customer the best in future endeavors. The LCD screen worked one hour then stopped.  We took apart the laptop over 12 times testing and trying everything known to man but to no avail it wouldn’t work. The laptop was originally dropped and the cracked LCD screen cabling had a short circuit whereby the video cable plugs into the motherboard itself due to the drop. Sometimes electronics work just fine when dropped but not always the case. We ordered a screen replacement for the laptop and installed it successfully. The screen worked for a short time then went out completely. We called the client and explained everything to him and we explained the laptop would still work using HDMI cable to another HDMI compatible monitor. The client said he wanted the data off the hard drive so we told the client we would remove the hard drive from the laptop and go ahead and insert it into an external hard drive enclosure so he could access his data via usb. We refunded this client $75.00 dollars in cash and he accepted it plus we drove to [redacted] Road to meet the client to give him his laptop and all equipment back. We also purchased $64.04 of additional parts for this clients laptop. I will explain the breakdown of all parts and labor below.Labor Received:$300.00 cash includes labor and screen replacement and all applicable taxes.Parts:$155.99 for the new LCD Screen/Touchscreen/Digitizer plus $9.99 for shipping and Handling$45.00 for usb 3.0 speed external hard drive box.Additional Parts that go behind 15.6 inch Display and Video Cables to the laptop Motherboard:$64.04Refunded Customer:Computer-Tech-Services refunded $75.00 dollars cash and also input the customers hard drive in an external 2.5 hard drive enclosure box that is worth $45.00 plus we purchased $64.04 of additional parts. Computer-Tech-Services paid out $184.04 to the customer and spent 25 hours working on this project to make the client happy. I can honestly say that as a company we went above and beyond for this customer.

Review: On 10/22 I took my car in to be smogged. It "failed" NO citing max 834 and meas 2121. I took it to [redacted] to find out what was wrong. They ran the smog test and found "the vehicle past the smog test without any repairs or diagnostics". I went back to Instant Smog on 11/7 and the clerk made copies of all my paperwork. He had bad contact info and I corrected it. He said someone would call me Mon or Tue. No one did. I went back on 11/13. I was told numerous things over an 1 1/2 hours. It would take half an hour, he was waiting for a form, he was going to print a form. Over a dozen times I was told I would get my money back that day. At the end of 1 1/2 hours I was told to leave or they would call the police. I was only waiting for my money. I went back on 11/16 as no once contacted me. They again had the same wrong contact info. I corrected it again. No one has called nor emailed me. I keep getting told I will get my money, then to leave. They are giving me the runaround hoping I will give up. According to other employees, I am not the first but am the first to pursue it. Evidently the rest gave up.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back. I will never use this business again.

Review: After performing a smog check on my vehicle, one of the Instant Smog check employees backed up and collided my vehicle into another customer's vehicle. As I was waiting in the lobby during this time, the manager on duty stated that this obviously wasn't my fault and that the car will be repaired.

Myself , the owner of the other vehicle and my insurance company have contacted the company numerous times over the last 11 Days in order to receive Instant Smog Check's insurance information. Not one single person from the manager at the store to contacts at the corporate office are willing to provide said insurance, stating that it's confidential information.Desired Settlement: For instant smog check to accept liability and provide their insurance information to me so that I can pass it on to my insurance company as well as the other owner that was involved in the incident.

We received a letter regarding a complaint with the ID number [redacted], we have knowledge about this claim. We contacted and we offered the customer different option to help him to fix the car and to show him we don’t want to avoid our responsibility the customer denied all our offers and he started working with his own insurance, currently we been working with his insurance company but the last information we got from the insurance company is that the customer car has been repair, we are waiting for the insurance company response since we provide our feedback to them regarding this claim.
