husband sold an opened, used bottle of perfume. they would not exchange even after contacted by the mall [redacted]my husband was sold an opened, used bottle of perfume for $100. I tried to return in the next day and they would not do anything. After speaking with the mall [redacted], who spoke to the owner of the kiosk, he said he would do an exchange for equal value. I returned to the mall a second time, and the employee refused to an exchange, then agreed to exchange for the same thing. Said I would go to court, and I am.Desired SettlementI want a full refund, at this point, along with any court fees.Business Response We took care of the customer and resolved any and all issues we had thanks

I purchase a bottle of perfume I was told could be returned for a refund. Deceptively the bottle was USED prior to purchase. My refund was refusedOn [redacted] I shopped at the merchants store for perfume to give my wife as a gift. I wasn't sure if she would like it, so I asked the salesperson if the perfume could be returned after it was opened and tested by my wife. He stated it could, as long as it was "resellable". I purchased the perfume for [redacted] I gave my wife the perfume the next day, and the first thing she noticed was the scotch tape holding the cellophane wrapping on the box. Clearly, this perfume had already been opened and used, although it was sold to me for top dollar as NEW! My wife asked where I purchased the perfume, and went on to the Internet fearing I had been had. We found several similar complaints from former customers. When I went back to the mall to return the perfume, the same salesperson told me to look at the refund policy on the reciept. He refused to refund me as promised at the time of sale, only "exchange". Ironically, it states on the reciept that items cannot be exchanged if opened, and he admitted he told me I could return the item after my wife opened and tested it. Bottom line, the salesperson lied to me so I would purchase the perfume, fraudulently sold me an opened USED perfume, then refused to take the item back the following day.
