Failed to show for a job scheduled weeks in advance, with no notice When we called to find out what was going on, we were told they were "very busy" Work was eventually done, and we were told IRS would provide a quote for additional clean up and repairs Again, IRS failed to show up on scheduled date to provide an estimate When we called to reschedule, IRS told us they were now too busy to do work they originally discussed IRS's inability to keep its commitments significantly delayed our project

Using their service was the absolute worst experience we have had next to the actual fire. This company leads you to believe that they represent the fire victim, they do NOT, they represent the insurance company hoping to impress them in order to be hired more often by them. They continually push for clean rather than replace and their cleaning is not all that great either. The odor of smoke present finally abated after we forced them to clean the rugs numerous times. Only then, we were greeted with the wonderful new smell of chemicals with a hint smoke odor. Yet they still "advised" our insurance company that we could keep the carpets and "move in". My wife got a headache every time she entered the house and the entire family had a burning feeling in their throats!
They advised the insurance company that they could replace the burnt cabinets on one side of the kitchen and not the other, who the heck does that??? When I told most people about this recommendation they laughed! No matter how well they may try and match the old to the new, any good home inspector will notice that one side of the kitchen has 20 year old cabinets and the other side new. You think this is representing the home owner??? Think about how such a CHEAP approach to fixing our kitchen will effect our future value in our home!
When I complained and told them I was going to post bad reviews on every social media site I could like yep, google, home advisor and such, he informed me he was canceling the heating duct cleaning he had scheduled the following week and abandoned us AND the job and insurance company mid steam in the process. Is this a professional response to a complaint? I think not! Most pros would grit their teeth, no matter how difficult it may be and at LEAST finish the job!
Once this terrible experience is all over I indeed will be calling Revdex.com to make a formal complaint, but right now we have bigger fish to fry like negotiating a new duct cleaning service to finish the terrible job IRS did.
One of my clients of my firm warned me about this companies obsessions with saving the insurance company money at the home owners expense. Sadly, I did not listen, dont be foolish enough to do the same thing!!! You were warned!!!!
