Integrated Concept Installations Reviews (%countItem)

In June my wife and I had a deck built by this company. From the start what was agreed on was not what was delivered. Even the day the job started the discussion about the type of spindles the owner told us we would receive were not the same once the material arrived. Trusting this company we continued. The first payment as with all business transactions was a cashiers check. The owner was not happy and asked that we try to cash it and give him cash. We didn’t do it so he accepted but requested that we pay him in cash for the final payment. Once the job started there was to be poly plastic on the bottom preventing grass from growing under the deck. Once we looked at it once it was done it was a large clear trash bag or construction bad they just spread out. It looks like trash they left down there. Once the deck was up they were going to leave the support beams with no end caps. I’ve never seen a deck built without end-caps. In addition there are stairs built but no handrail. This is not safe. As a “professional” company you would think that they would quote you for everything that is involved in finishing a deck. When we asked about the caps we were told that wasn’t in the price. I find it hard to believe. We went to purchase a few for them to put on and they did come back and add some more. However the steps still don’t have railing. I’ve contacted the owner and his partner as my wife texted his partner who agreed to purchase the material and add the railing. He never showed so she sent another message and he didn’t respond. We were not asking for anything free we just want our work completed. If you are creating a contract for people as a business owner you should make it know what is all needed as the clients are relying on you to ensure everything is included. All we want is a completed job in which we thought we were paying for and something safe for our kids when the go up and down the steps.

Integrated Concept Installations Response • Aug 26, 2019

In response to claim filed by ***, once again we finished the job according to the contract, even with our company paying out of pocket for caps, that no matter whether we failed to bring up top caps or the client didn't acknowledge them, "they don't come with the deck!" Other than that they wouldn't be sold separately from the items onto which they are attached.

*** went behind out back to ask one of my coworkers, once again to not pay my "small struggling business anymore money," to do work for him.

What he discussed with my co-worker didn't have anything to do with me at that point!! It had been two months, then all of a sudden my company is bad. If he or his wife would have contacted myself at anytime we would have come out and added the handrail, with additional cost, of course no problem.

At this point my company Integrated Concept Installations LLC doesn't want anymore dealings with ***n. He didn't get beat in anyway on the price for a 12x12 deck, labor and material. Ask him if he doesn't mind leaving my company out of his business dealings with co-workers.
