[redacted] originally came to a free diabetes reversal seminar with her sister and was happy with the information. At the end of the seminar, I mention to only schedule an appointment if your health is your number one priority. I mention this a few times to make sure no one schedules who will waste our... time. That appointment is about an hour of my time and it is to determine if the patient is a good fit for our program. That visit includes me going over their case as well as if they would respond to our clinical model. It is usually $299 however I allowed that group a reduced rate of $49. That appointment is about 45 minutes to an hour to see if they are a good fit. [redacted] gladly paid the $49 and showed up promptly for her appointment. I met with her at which time I did not accept her case because the labs she brought in weren't thorough enough to know what her main problems were at that time. I recommended to do more testing where we would set her up with very comprehensive labs which include functional blood chemistry, urine and many other tests. She gladly accepted and thanked me a few times for helping her. She was glad that someone actually looks to see what is causing her problems because she is afraid of diabetes. At that point she started the more testing protocol which is paid upfront as discussed. I went over all the fees and terms upfront and mentioned multiple times they are non refundable which is also in writing a few times. She signed and agreed to all terms. She also signed our policy and terms which it states refunds policy in bold. She decided to pay over time using our outside finance program which gave her lower monthly payments she mentioned she could afford. I then spent over an additional hour going over labs and set her up with multiple tests she never did before. She left with lab kits and all things needed to complete tests and all paperwork. I also gave her a big discount. She booked her next appointment and left the office happy. We called in specialty staff to help complete her tests as agreed. She called our staff the following day because she wanted to pay in full instead of using the credit company she signed up for. Later that week she called again to cancel and not do the testing because she could "not afford it" despite having a very low monthly payment of around $150 that wasn't due until a month later. She came in and brought back kits and signed all of our release paperwork. She later called angry as I tried to help her with working something out. She wasn't able to communicate and would only yell. We then called her back in a few hours later and she still was arguing and not willing to come in to work something out. We called her again and we weren't able to communicate with her so we then sent her a letter to contact us to work something out. We are disappointed because we clearly state the terms and its written multiple times. It was at full disclosure but she isn't willing to contact us and work something out. We wish [redacted] the best and hope she contacts us to work something out. We cannot do all the work on her case for free. She read and understood the terms and she signed multiple places. We would still like to help her and get value for the services she agreed to.

This is a follow up of her response: 1. The patient denies a MORE TESTING PROTOCOL however signed 2 forms approving it stating "MORE TESTING". [redacted] Lie #1 2. The patient claims that she was unaware of paying a fee yet wanted to change the credit company and pay us directly that week. She was going to pay us because she knew she paid before the testing. THAT IS WHY SHE WANTED TO PAY US DIRECTLY THAT WEEK! [redacted] Lie #2 3. We gave her close to a $3000 discount which is never mentioned. Sometimes patient come to see us to get more information on how we get results and hope to get it for free. [redacted] wanted to take advantage of that by stating she never signed anything and things weren't explained. We have proof of her agreement on our forms and procedures with great detail. She is lying and trying to make stories that we don't care. Basically she didn't want to pay and came to just waste time and get free information. When she thought about really getting well and seeing that it wasn't for free she made a story about it instead of taking responsibility. She forgets to mention that Dr Spages spent 2 hours with her also. 3. We REFUNDED ALL HER MONEY and she is no longer welcome as a patient in our office. We wish her the best.
