I received a letter on 1/8/16 about a complaint filed by Mr. [redacted].
My name is...

[redacted], manager and sale person who helped Mr. [redacted] Sunday 1/3/16.[redacted] came up to the counter to pay and as I have been working for Leather works for 7 years, I am very familiar with all out products. We have only 3 different styles in our men’s shaving bag two are process at $15.00 (665, T006) and one is priced at $10.00 (005) our smaller mans bag.
[redacted] brought up the T006 and I smiled and said “16.28”. [redacted] turned the bag over and said “its 10.00 as I looked at the bag I told him that the item is $15.00. He then said “if you don’t give it to me for $10.00, I will report you to Revdex.com. [redacted] then told me that all the bags were missed marked and all are priced at $10.00, I told him I would double check, since I am the only one that prices all our items. We had 3 T006 left in the bag on our selves with our price gun at $15.00 and one that is our display which has $15.00 on it with our bigger tags red/white. I brought all 4-T006 up with me to the counter to show [redacted] that they are priced correctly.
And that I am sorry but I have to charge the correct amount for our item $15.00. He did seem annoyed but said “that’s fine charge me whatever.” I rang him up and again said 16.28, he handed me his credit card, I asked for Id and then finished his transaction, he signed the merchant copy and had no problem with amount, I gave him two copies, one is from the cc and second is our register receipt. I thanked him and he walked out.
Customer with any overcharge or dispute with a credit card transaction, call there banks to file a dispute, I checked with my corporate office to see if [redacted] filed any overcharge or dispute, our corporate office have not yet received any dispute filed by [redacted].
I feel like I handled this situation very well, I was perfectional as a manager, I made sure I double check the item to make sure there was no error on my part, asked him if he was still interested in the bag, smiled and finished the sale.

I am rejecting this response because:It apears this business mismarks the top product then when confronted blames "the new girl" and acts surprised she made a mistake. In the response the manager said she lables the pricing herself. It appears to be a very deceptive business practice. I will dispute the price and the fraud with both my credit card and the corporate office as well.
