RE: Complaint ID [redacted] – [redacted] , 2nd ResponseAs stated in the original response, when the comprehensive claim was changed to reflect an at-fault accident this caused the increased amount in premiumAn increased amount for a change typically gets spread evenly over the remaining monthly payments for the policy term [redacted] cancelled at the end of the 1st month; Due to the cancellation, the total amount of the change for the 1st month was due instead of being spread evenly over the remaining months As stated in the original response, [redacted] did not tell [redacted] that she would or would not owe the additional amount backdated to the start date, and [redacted] was never told she wouldn’t owe anything else if she cancelled When [redacted] expressed that she was upset about the payment and wanted a resolution, what I said is that I promise to have a conversation with the staff to refresh them on how billing works with mid-policy changes; And I did discuss it with everyoneRegards, [redacted] ***
