Dear Sir:
*** *** brought her *** *** in for a Virginia State Inspection This was the first time this vehicle had been in
our shop
As part of the inspection, we are required to inspect all belts The tech noted coolant on the belt and the customer was informed The customer was happy and left with no request to check out
Now we are accused of damage to their vehicle They have presented no proof They have not even had the vehicle checked as to where it is leaking
This is a serious charge with no substantial proof of cause
I suggest water pumps leak, gaskets fail, hoses rot, and radiators develop holes
The first step is to have the vehicle checked out for the cause of the leak

Review: I took my 2009 [redacted] to Integrity Auto on September 5 to get a state inspection and after waiting from 8:30 am to 9:15 am I was told my car was fine and that it had a "slight" leak of oil and "slight" leak of coolant. Which I thought was untrue have owned for 6 months and not one drop of fluid anywhere. I left the Integrity Auto and proceeded to drive to my home approximately 10 miles and pulled car into car port where it stayed til 3:00 pm til I picked up my son from his school which is less then 1/4 mile from my home. There is a large puddle of fluid inside the carport area where I was parked earlier. When I contacted the Manager and Owner to tell them about this they said they were not responsible. I know they were now I have to find someone to fix a problem that I did not have til I went to this shop. I believe they break or loosen things to create more business for themselves.Desired Settlement: My car will be in as good of condition now as it was before I took it to them.

Regards,

Review: I would like to make a formal complaint, I had my [redacted] inspected on Friday September 6th by Integrity Automotive, INC [redacted] Email [redacted] PH [redacted] and [redacted], [redacted]. On September 6th my husband came home after a failed inspection for a left front ABS sensor, to many lights installed ont he front of the truck, a sticker on the back window, and a serpintine belt. My husband came home but on his way home he heard a knocking coming from the truck that was not there prior to inspection, on his arrival home he and his friend and I went to look around and found that the Front Right Passanger tire was not centered on the axel correctly and the lugnuts were not tight at all, we unscrewed them with our hands, then looking around further found a Sledge hammer on our back leaf spring, my husband and Friend drove back up to the store where the inspector [redacted] gretted them saying "oh you found my hammer" they both looked puzzeled as they asked " you knew it was there" [redacted] replied "yes, I was hoping it would just fall out" he put his hand out to get the hammer and my husband and Friend said "we'd like to speak to a [redacted]" They then waited for [redacted] to come in at 8:30am where she appologized after a brief discussion between [redacted], my husband and our friend, [redacted] contacted [redacted] the [redacted] and they agreed to go ahead and fix what was wrong with the vehicle to get it to pass inspection, since their negligence of the hammer that could have possibly fell out at anytime and hit the ground causing an accident for whom evere was driving behind us at the time of it's Falling out. They printed a reciet out stating they would replace the LFT ABS SENSOR and the BELT, My husband and friend went back up there this morning to get the work done, and on their way home again our truck started making a vibrating noise and our breaks would not allow them to come to a complete stop. My husband and 25 year [redacted], came home to discover that [redacted] the ** STATE INSPECTOR had not only not replaced the LFT ABS SENSOR but had cut the RT ABS sensors conector off and spliced wires together, Now our breaks are not working correctly and this is our only vehicle registered in my name in which I drive my 2 children around in. they took the truck back up there again spoke to the Father of [redacted] who is the [redacted], and they decided they would just sauter the wires together, After my husband pulled out his ASE MAster Certificate, and explaining to them you can not splice nor sauter ABS wires, that is a major part to the stoping of our Truck, [redacted] sautered them anyway and gave us the conector back that he cut off. still causing our breaks not to work properly, now my husband is out working on our only vehicle to try and get it working correctly, causing us to have to be out $200 dollars not for not one but 2 ABS sensors. I do not believe that this shop should have their VA state inspectors licens nor should this Gental man [redacted] have any of his ASE certificates or be allowed to work in a shop on peoples vehicles. Not only did he mess our Truck up, leave a hammer on our leaf springs, not tighten or place our tire on correctly while there today a [redacted] came in to return the Razor blade and razor blade holder used to scratch off the inspection stickers that [redacted] had left in his vehicle. And the [redacted], started cussing to my friend about praying for our kids, and hoping they will be safe ect. This is totaly rediculous, This is messing with not only the persons vehicles they touch to look at or fix but others that are driving on the road. We have reported this to the area [redacted] who is going to be back in touch with us, but I felt that I needed to let everyone know that they were affiliated with or memebers with, You do not wanting these people touching anyones vehicles. Thank youDesired Settlement: I do not think these people should even be able to have their buisness liscens conducting buisness like this is dishearting, and unsafe to all who are on the road driving.

Re [redacted]

Dear Sir:

Yes I would love to responds to the complaint from [redacted]. [redacted]. Below is a diary of events.

1) [redacted] was not the customer that presented the [redacted] for inspection. [redacted]. The customer of record was [redacted].

2) The vehicle failed for the brake light on in the dash, 3rd brake light covered by a sticker, the serpentine belt was missing a riv, and are too many fog lights per [redacted] State Inspection Guidelines.

3) The [redacted] State inspection requires the technicians to note which front and rear tire is removed during the inspection. Only one front and one rear are required to be removed. The inspector removed the LEFT front and LEFT rear tire for inspection-not the right one as listed in the complaint.

4) For the customer complaint concerning tool left on wheel spring- no property or personal damage was done. Customer wanted work for inspection related work done for free. We agreed in good faith,

5) The technician diagnosed the brake light on in the dash as broken wires to the plug on the right from the ABS sensor. We required the wires and replaced the serpentine belt at no charge. Customer received a good inspection sticker. ~$[redacted] in free repairs.

6) Customer complained about the way the wiring was repaired and now has other brake issues.

7) We changed the wiring connections to his approval and offered to diagnose other brake issues not related to the original inspection for a fee. He left angry.

8) He made a formal complaint to the Virginia State Police. Trooper Bream made an appointment with the state inspector and person issuing the complaint. The customer did not show up for appointment to resolve the complaint. When the trooper called to verify the appoint date and tire, the customer withdrew the complaint.

Thank you for this opportunity to respond to this complaint.
