November 28,2016Revdex.com of Western PA [redacted]RE: Complaint ID [redacted]Following is our response to the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted].Ms. [redacted] was interested in purchasing a door and scheduled an appointment with our company for a quote. Our sales...

representatives carry various samples and color chips with them so that the customer can pick out the door style based on pictures and then picks out of the available color chip to decide what color they want the interior and exterior of the door to be. Ms. [redacted] chose the Mahogany Stab color chip and wanted the interior and exterior to be the same color. The door was ordered to the contract specifications and was ordered in Mahogany stain interior and exterior. After the door was installed, Ms. [redacted] called to say she didn’t feel the door was the color that was on her contract. We double checked the contract and the order form, as well as called the (Factory, to verify that the door was Mahogany inside and out. The door was ordered and manufactured correctly.Ms. [redacted] is claiming that the door we installed has a different color on the exterior than the interior, which is not I the case. The door has the exact same color on the interior and exterior but because of the different light hitting the exterior, Ms. [redacted] feels that the paint is different on the exterior of the door. The original sales rep took the color chip back to Ms. Fangailo’s home but she refuses to believe that the door is the same color on the inside and outside. The owner did speak to her on the phone and she is under the assumption that we can take the exterior slab off the door but that is not correct as we would have to replace the entire door. The owner originally offered to Ms. [redacted] that if she does not like the color she originally chose, the company would split the cost to replace it for her with no charge for installation if she paid $750 to do so with the company paying the other half. She refused this option at all.We at no point misrepresented this door or the color of the door. Ms. [redacted] chose the color chip and we ordered the door the color she chose. A shipping list is enclosed that shows the door is the same color inside and outside, which further proves that the difference in color Ms. [redacted] is not satisfied with is due to the natural light hitting the exterior of the door versus the lighting inside the home. Terrible company that is in the market of pressuring people into quick decisIons. My fiance and I won a " free installation " at a bridal expo. We gladly accepted the prize and scheduled an appointment. Integrity canceled on three of the four and when finally showing up for the fourth gave us a three hour run around on how great the windows were that they install which were very nice for someone who has a substantial amount of income. These windows are top shelf. At the end of yhe 3 hours the salesman says take my offer and sign now or you will lose your free installation. Dont forget we won this at a bridal expo so we are in the middle of planing a wedding. So we decline because of the circumstances and how expensive it was going to be for 19 windows. 14000 for ten windows not even including installation. A day goes by I get a call the have another offer supposively better than the first. So they come out and it feels like a good cop bad cop tactic. I literally am almost in a yelling match with this guy in my own home. He is a guest and a salesman Is this how a company is supppsed to present themselves. All we wanted was to hear the new offer amd the.guy came to the conclusion that we werent buyers and then this is when the ignorance and slight yelling came about. Needless to say he never left us with the new and better offer. He simply stood up said there is nothing more here and walked out.

Top of the line A Class company I highly recommend everyone to hire these clowns

Integrity had contacted me from a random door to door sale's pitch, and had informed me that they were looking to setup a "Display" home on my street. At this point, I wasn't really looking for a Door, and I had made that clear to the initial sales representative, but he had urged me to get a quote, stating that for their "Display" home pricing, that I would get a near free door, that I would only have to pay for the installation, and that I would have to post a sign for up to a year due to the door being almost free.

At this point, I decided what the heck. A sales associate then came to my home (approximately 20 minutes late from the scheduled appointment) without any phone call, and had proceeded to discuss information with us about Integrity for the next 2 hours and 15 minutes. At the end, he informed me of the price, which was not a cheap "Display" home pricing, but rather their normal price, with a 20% discount. I informed him that I was told him what I had been informed, and that I wouldn't have wasted my time if I knew it was a mere discount versus what I was told.

They truly don't listen to their customers, they are more concerned with getting a sale at a high price, and getting themselves in your door to complete a sale.

After all of this, and I had informed them that there was NO need for me to continue contact with them, I was called everyday, for almost a week. Did I ignore all of these calls? No, I answered, and I had told the same person the same story that I was not interested in their service and to quit calling me. They didn't... which is why I am filing this.

At first, I listened to the sales person on the phone as he told me that their doors are custom made, and that there just happens to be one matching my exact spec's in their warehouse, and that their owner told them to "get rid of it". I asked for a quote over the phone, and they refused to. Instead, they had to send someone to my house, to have a sit down meeting, and measure my frame to make sure the door fit. I asked if they weren't competent in their employees, as they would have manufactured a door to those specifications if I had first ordered.

The simple fact is they don't listen, and continue to try and get someone in your house and sell a product. They don't care about anything but getting doors sold, and they will continue to pester you, even after you have clearly explained what you do and do not want, and that you are done listening to them. They will spam you with calls, and act as though they are giving you a huge discount, when in reality, they just want to sell you a product, with a minimal discount. They ONLY care about getting someone in your house, and they give you false promises at every turn.

I had scheduled a meeting with them through a young lady who came to the door. She spent 20 minutes telling me about their company. I scheduled a meeting for someone from their company to come out and give us an estimate. They called the day of the meeting and cancelled saying they had no representatives in the area. They did call back and schedule another meeting time. The meeting lasted well over 2 hours. All that was accomplished from the meeting was what we were looking for in a company and a contractor. We asked him no less than 4 times what the price was. He measured the window we wanted to replace and then asked us about options for the window. He told us that he would have to check the price with the options we gave him and would send us a quote. His parting comment was if you are asking about price than you probably won't buy our windows. This was the end of August and we have heard nothing from the company since. I'm sorry but when a company can't give you a price when they indicate free estimates than I'm not interested in doing business with them. My time is valuable and when you advertise free in home estimates and do not give the estimate than you have wasted my time. In today's world people want to know what they will be spending. We spent more time with this sales person to buy windows than we did buying our cars.

Review: I purchased 10 windows in 2008 from this company with a 50 year warranty. The purchase price of these windows including install was around $13,800. These windows were to help with the heating cost for my house. These windows are very poor quality and as a result they are very cold in the winter. I called and complained about this last year I believe around November or December 2012. I took this company quite awhile to return my call, in fact, I believe I had to call them back. They were to schedule a service guy to look at my windows and call me back, which I never received a return call and again had to call them back. I spoke with the lady who schedules service, she informed me that she needed to schedule service when they had an install job in my area. Which leads me to believe that since this was a warranty issue I wasn't important enough to this company. After a month or more past, a service guy did come to my has and after being there for less than 5 minutes said there is something wrong with the windows. He said they should not be that cold and should be replaced and that someone from the company would be in touch. Which again, I never received a return phone call. So after several attempts and a few months, I was told that they needed to do more testing on my windows and would send a service guy out to take temps on the windows. So now it is April when they send a guy out to do the temps. On this day in April it is around 62 outside so of course the windows are not going to be cold because it isn't cold outside. Again, I never hear anything from this company and have to call them back. When I did speak to someone he basically told me that I am stuck with these windows and that there isn't anything wrong with them. I informed him about the weather on this day and that I believe they should retest in the winter months. Since this time I have spoken to several people from this company regarding my windows and everyone tells me they will look into the issue, no return callDesired Settlement: I would like to have the windows replaced or if it is the install of the windows then the install needs fixed. If I can't have them replaced then I would like a refund or partial refund of my cost. These were very expensive windows and they should stand behind their work and products.

Review: J- Channel were damaged when removing old windows. Then when replacing new J-Channel around windows some workers nailed the J-channel in and other workers did not. some of the J channels are falling off. I met with the owner on Nov. 7th 2013. He was not interested in what I had to say. his name was [redacted].Desired Settlement: I asked [redacted] to pay me $200.00 and I would fix them myself, which included $27.61 for materials I already purchased. He refused this offer and told me to go ahead and file this form, and that he has been through this 8 times before and got in his car and left.

Response:

The purpose of this letter is to respond to the complaint tiled by Mr. [redacted] of Sykesville PA. Our side of the story follows. Mr. [redacted] claims that his 3-Channels had begun to fall off. Upon my inspection, only one window on the corner was slightly bowed out. Mr. [redacted] expressed his concern on three of his windows. The problem was that Mr. [redacted] was concerned because you could not see the nails and he felt that they would fall off. They were not falling off and I told Mr. [redacted] that if they were to come off, we would be glad to fix them. I explained that if you did not have to face nail the vinyl that it was better due to expansion and contraction. Upon my visit to Mr. [redacted]’s home, I only saw two problems. On one window, the miter on one corner was over instead of under (this is strictly a cosmetic issue that we were willing to fix) and the one corner was slightly bowing out. We would have been more than happy to send someone to Mr. [redacted]’s house to fix these two issues. Mr. [redacted] got very upset and told mc that he did not want us fixing it. He said he would fix it himself and wanted us to pay him $200.00. I told him that to change the cap on one channel and snap the one piece back in was not worth $200.00 so we would send someone to fix it. At that point, Mr. [redacted] got very upset and said he would have to redo all of them because they will all fall off and he began to physically tear off and damage the j-Channels (as shown in his photos). As hard as it was for Mr. [redacted] to tear off the J-Channels, it was apparent to me that they would not just fall off as Mr. [redacted] believed.
