I did reply to this weeks ago Apparently, it did not go thru We took excellent care of this customer He was served by my number one employee, [redacted] who also involved me in the transaction which is not common [redacted] has been with me for years, this customer was "unique" from day one It seems common that when you go the extra mile people always want MORE This is an antique motorcycle and is in exceptional shape Typically, bikes of this age are sold not even in running condition This one runs well and looks EXCELLENT This customer was indecisive about the purchase from day one but eventually made the decision to buy He simply has buyers remorse IF he would like a detail, he can bring it here Details do not cost $ We did everything correctly We are not obligated to do more If he would like to sell it, we may make him an offer

I am happy to agree to the $that would make him happy Also, if he would like to sell it for the book value he suggests, I have a customer that's very interested

Thank you for bringing this to our attentionWe've reached out to our customer to address his concerns, and hope to have the matter resolved directly with him

I am rejecting this response because: I wouldn't purchase another bike from this company nor will I purchase a bike from one of their friends from a similar dealerMy wife and son were both in the office with me during the purchase of the bike in question and NOTHING was said about an assembled bikeI spoke with the company that supplied the person with the parts for this bike and he pulled the paperwork and confirmed that most of the parts on this bike including the engine IS NOT HARLEY DAVIDSONHe also said that he would be happy to testifyAt this point this entire purchase and my demanding a refund is a matter of principleThis guy is lying which tells me that they have done it before and if they get away with this they will do it againSelling someone a Harley Davidson for whatever price should be a Harley Davidson periodThis bike isn't even a Harley Davidson other than some accessories that say Harley Davidson to camouflage that it is a bunch of scrap parts thrown togetherThis is wrong, it's unethical, and illegalThey can say whatever they want however, I have proof and this will be their last opportunity to make it right

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I shall await my check

Mr.[redacted] did have a warranty he purchased thru his lender which is [redacted] Financial. Mr.[redacted] brought this bike back after putting a couple thousand miles on it claiming it had a wobble in the front end. We took bike in and my service dept rode bike and did an inspection of all the front end...

components and found nothing to be defective at that time. We did snug his steering bearings less than an eighth of a turn and gave back to Mr.[redacted]. Many times during the next couple of months he came back in saying it still had a wobble and almost everybody in the company rode it to make sure we were not missing something and after having the bike at speeds approaching 100 MPH We determined again nothing to be wrong. Mr.[redacted] warranty is not an in house and can be taken to a variety of dealerships for service and his wife stated they did take it to [redacted] HD in lancaster with no different result. I received a call from [redacted] one morning stating that [redacted] pulled out of his drive way in a residential area and within a matter of seconds he was flying thru the air and the bike was doing cartwheels in the street.I am not a physicist but I know better than the front end of the bike falling off during any condition. I however have been witness to the way he rides that bike because everytime he comes or goes out of here it is almost full throttle. I asked where the bike was and if I could take a look at it to get some collaborating evidence to validate their claim but she refused to let us or our insurance company to see it. With the story she told me and the facts of this matter it is our conclusion HE was operating the bike in appropriately to say the least lost control hit curb or car I can only speculate and subsequently wrecked himself and instead of owning his actions he wants to blame others and get compensated for bad judgement. If he is wanting us to pay his deductible the damage is not so bad as to total vehicle and also goes to show there was not a mechanical failure but operator error. If a mechanical failure occurred in the manor they stated it would Definitely totaled the bike for sure. If there is anything else I can do please do not hesitate to email. Thanks Tye Bowshier

This buyer is not telling the truth.  I was standing in the showroom the day he picked up the bike and it was explained to him on more than one occasion what the status of the motorcycle is.  It has nothing to do with being salvage and everything to do with being a self-assembled bike that...

someone used Harley parts to build.  We sold it to him at a very low price not the typical price for that year.  Regardless of that, he is being misled by another dealer to believe something that is NOT true so that they can put a low number on that as a trade in.  We can put a much better number on the trade in than that and I also have a contact at Chillicothe Harley (Scott) that will do the same if he is interested in buying a new Harley instead of used.

I am rejecting this response because: First, calling this buyer's remorse was an invention of [redacted](see email train). I was upset by the condition of the bike, wanting to return it for a full refund. [redacted] offered to pay for a detail and oil change/service (see email train) and I decided to keep it. One of Integrity's employees told me that it did not receive the oil change/filter and that is why [redacted] said he would do that. Second, I think the offer for a detail of my bike is ridiculous as they know I live in Kentucky and it would be of high cost for me just to get the bike to them. What I want is what was promised to me by their [redacted] (and even their [redacted]-see email train) -reimbursement for a detail and service. I am willing to accept $200, just a little more than 1/2 of the original bill I sent to [redacted] (see attached). For the record, I paid $3900 for the bike and it bluebooks retail at $1905. I paid taxes and an inordinately high document fee of $250.

We have a signed bill of sale and other legal documents showing the make of the vehicle as ASSEMBLED.  We have done nothing wrong.  However, we like to help people that are reasonable and unthreatening.  I hope [redacted] takes advantage of our generosity. Thanks

I am happy to agree to the $200 that would make him happy.  Also, if he would like to sell it for the book value he suggests, I have a customer that's very interested.

I did reply to this 2 weeks ago.  Apparently, it did not go thru.

We took excellent care of this customer.  He was served by my number one employee, [redacted] who also involved me in the transaction which is not common.  [redacted] has been with me for 15 years, this customer...

was "unique" from day one.  It seems common that when you go the extra mile people always want MORE.  This is an antique motorcycle and is in exceptional shape.  Typically, bikes of this age are sold not even in running condition.  This one runs well and looks EXCELLENT.  This customer was indecisive about the purchase from day one but eventually made the decision to buy.  He simply has buyers remorse.  IF he would like a detail, he can bring it here.  Details do not cost $340.  We did everything correctly.  We are not obligated to do more.  If he would like to sell it, we may make him an offer.
