She came to sale and selected items very carefully, asking us what we thought and knew about items she was interested in.   We told her what we knew about the items and that she would have to make up her mind if she wanted to purchase the items.  Other people wanted to buy items that she...

had selected to buy, but she said that she was sure she wanted them.  At one point another customer asked her if she would sell some of the items that she was buying.  She told me that she told him NO.  I did not hear the conversation but saw him talking to her and she told me that she did not want to sell the items to him.  At estate sales we are selling items that belong to our clients to customers that come to the sale.   We have signs posted at our sales that all sales are final.   No returns.She came back the second day and wanted to return the items.  She was told that we could not except returns.   She said that she was overcharged on the items she purchased.  I reviewed her copy of the items and return $4 in Cash to her.   We were very busy at the time and I did not have the original receipt with us.   When I got back to the office I reviewed her receipt and found that she was not overcharged.    When she was checking out the first day she had taken a cover from another dish that fit her dish that was clearly marked "NO COVER" and the price was $4.   The dishes that had covers were marked $8.  She had purchased several of them.  She agreed to pay the additional $4 which was written on the original receipt but because she already had her yellow copy, it did not get added on.    She actually owes us $4  All items were selected very carefully by her and she is not entitled to a refund according to our posted policy at the sale and also on Estatesales.net where she said that she saw the sale advertised.
