Jeremy of Serial Coders at a business networking meeting (BNI) and decided to give him an opportunity to do my Real Estate web site Serial Coders agreed to construct a web site for *** *** *** ***. I assumed from our discussions it would be a complete website including pictures and copy content. I submitted my payment, Jeremy verified receipt of the check, and I thought we were under way. Not the case. After three weeks of no contact of any kind from Serial Coders I called Jeremy and asked what the progress was. He said he was too busy to start. With that lack of attention to a client’s (mine) needs I thought that they would not be able to complete the work. I asked Jeremy to cancel the contract and send me a refund. He asked for one more chance, telling me how important my business was to them and that he would start on my site at once. Strike one At the end of January I canceled my old web site company, not my Go Daddy hosting account. Jeremy said he would put up a temporary site for me. Instead he cut all *** *** *** *** web content off entirely. And then Jeremy did not answer my frantic emails and phone calls complaining about what he had done in erasing all my content from the web. When he finally contacted me I again asked to cancel our contract. Jeremy asked for another chance and said he would take care of copy. Strike two Serial Coders sent a woman, Cedar, to meet with me. Her job ostensibly was to interview me and write copy. The copy she turned in was not professional and as so poorly written it would have been an embarrassment to me had Serial Coders used it Of course by now I understood that Serial Coders had no understanding of my business, of how to develop a Real Estate web site, of Real Estate marketing, or of client service. I know they are not ethical or trustworthy. I again asked for a refund. Serial Coders said they would send me that they had completed. Since I had never seen anything completed from them other than poorly written copy I declined and again asked for a refund of monies paid. Jeremy of Serial Coders declined and said he was keeping my payment I filed a complaint with BNI, which despite what Jeremy thinks, is still ongoing.
