This complaint is from a friend of our two daughters who we urgently allowed to move into our home when she was having problems with her boyfriend. We let her stay for a month for free and...
then let her work at our facility and deduct that amount from the amount she paid us for renting a room due to her difficult financial situation. As an employee, she was allowed to get IPL treatments for a very reduced price of $10 per session. She was planning to move to another state and had given her notice but then ended up moving home with her parents due to transportation issues. Because she was no longer an employee, we told her that she would need to pay the $99 per treatment price, which is what our customers pay. We never told her that she would have to pay $1000 to complete her sessions. The $1000 fee is for someone who desires unlimited treatments for a full year. This complaint has nothing to do with the quality of service or switching prices on her, as she got a very good deal--$500-$600 worth of services for $50-$60. The $50 to $60 that she spent was for treatments on various parts of her body. She never completed treatment on any one area, so it is not correct for her to say that the treatments don't work. I believe that this complaint is not valid, as it is being done in spite rather than due to a problem in our pricing or services. Incidentally, she left behind more that $50-$60 worth of damage when she moved out of our home. We never asked her to repay that, so I am saddened by the way she is treating us.
