Hired Integrity Outdoor Solutions to bring in dirt, level ground lay straw and plant grass seed. During the sales portion I asked Riley K how the grass seed would be planted. At that time he stated that it would be planted with a slicer seeder. I agreed to that, but it was never printed on the bid. I came home after the work was done and saw that the grass seed was just sprinkled on the ground. I reached out to him and asked why it was not planted using the a slicer seeder. I also stated that the ground was hard and there was not way it was going to grow no matter how much I watered it on hard ground. Here we are just over two weeks later with a lot of watering and grass isn't growing in the areas without fresh dirt and straw. I asked for Brian's number who was in charge of billing and never got a response and his voicemail does not reflect his name so I assuming its him. All Riley would do is offer 100.00 dollar credit for the "miscommunication" as he referred to not using a slicer seeder. One can't reasonable expect for grass to grow on hard ground with just watering. The job should have been bid right and stated that we need to use a drill or a sliver seeder for it to be done right or don't do the job at all.
I acknowledge that we have spoken and completed a job for Mr.. As listed in his complaint we did speak about the job and it’s entirety. Everything that was listed on the estimate and spoken about was completed. No where on the estimate does it say anything about a slicer seeder. The crew that completed his job did everything they were suppose to do, according to the work order. We did give Mr. a discount for a misunderstanding. If he would like further work to be done, a new work order would have to be created for time, labor and material. I will attach the estimate and the invoice that was completed, it made no mention of a slicer seeder, that he speaks of. The discount was to make sure that we were paid something for the job and the miscommunication. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to resolve this. There will be no further discounts due to the work completed and the estimate and invoice reflects as such.

Grass will not grow on hard solid ground with grass seed just sprinkled on the surface. I made the mistake of taking their representative Riley’s word that he would use a slicer seeder that was not written in the contract. I’m fact it doesn’t mention how they are going to seed it at all. Vague contract is very convenient for the business. Very little grass grew in the area that they “seeded.” Never would I have imagined someone would have just sprinkled grass seed on the ground. I could have done that and why would I pay for that “service.” If they think this is good service than so be it. I am not going to accept it. This is a classic example of I sent my guys to work and no matter the quality of work I expect to get paid kind of deal.
