I have used Precision for years, and they installed my current Water Furnace in We have the system connected to our hot water heater, to take advantage of the excess warm water the system gives offWhen our hot water heater finally quit, I called precision to see if they would install the new one, if I purchased the hot water heater, since I wanted to make sure it would be connected correctlyI got a quote from "Thomas" that they would be happy to and he estimated it would take hours at $150/hrMy initial thought was hours was a bit excessive to replace a hot water heater that was already plumbed and connected to the furnace but I wanted to have it done right so I scheduled the appointment Two Technicians showed up to do the job, but unfortunately they brought no cooper pipe or connectors to do the jobFortunately I had about ft of 3/copper pipe and shark bit fittings in my garage I gave themThey also commented that they have never hooked up a hot water heater so I started to doubt my decision to use Precision After hours they completed the job, but I have something of a "Frankenstein " installAll water inlets are done with cooper, and all outlets are done with PEX salvaged off the old water heaterMy overflow pipe, is only a valve fitting and less than 1inch of pipe also taken off the old hot water heaterThe connection back to the furnace is done with 1/inch PEX they had in their truck even though the inlets from the furnace are 3/inch They technicians wanted to talk to the home office before giving me a bill, so they said one would be mailed to meYep, you guessed it, I finally got a bill for hours of labor at $for a total of $600, about the same as the whole hot water heater costI did send a letter to Precision asking them to lower the bill to at least the original estimate of hours ($450),due to the tech's just learning how to install a hot water heater and they fact I gave them about $worth of supplies (the cooper pipe and the shark bite connectors) Well I never got a response but I did get a late notice with a additional charge of $after daysI went ahead and paid the original invoice of $and quietly decided it was a mistake to try to use Precision for this jobTo add insult to injury Precision mails me a late notice every month for the unpaid late fee, and adds a $to the balance each month

One of my two geothermal systems in my home was not cooling properly I called Precision (who I've used for many years) and they came out for a service call The technician explained that we were very low on refrigerant which likely meant we had a leak in the condensing coil (which would be ~$2,to replace)He "charged" the unit and told us to call them back if we started having trouble againA few weeks later it quit cooling I called Precision back out fully expecting to spend $ After spending a couple hours troubleshooting the problem, he fixed the unit for a little under $ In a world where it's sometimes hard to trust businesses, what a great result and experience I had with PrecisionTHANK YOU for your honesty and integrity
