I recently utilized Integrity Plus Auto Service to perform a pre purchase inspection of the vehicle to ensure its sound mechanical conditionI dealt with ***, who claimed to have worked on the vehicle in the past and guaranteed it was in good shape I flew to San Diego to purchase this vehicle and the seller took me to see this mechanic and this shop despite my requests to visit a different mechanic for inspection Although I requested a written documentation of the inspection services performed on this vehicle, [redacted] refused to provide the document but continually ensured me that it was in good conditionHe specifically stated that the tires were good, brakes were good, engine ran strong, clutch was good, no leaks, etcHe claimed he'd done a pre sale inspection the day beforeThe only thing his shop replaced was a failing Osensor but it was solid other than that [redacted] had me stand under the car while on the liftIs this legal? After inspecting your vehicle you were leaking from the turbo and oil cooler hose. Review: I paid this mechanic shop to inspect a vehicle before purchasing it. They spent time to inspect it and they explained to me that it was in good shape. Based on their word I purchased this vehicle. One or Two weeks after purchasing the vehicle I noticed there was a oil leak coming from the car. I took the car back to the shop in order to find out what was wrong. They informed me that there is a leak in the turbo and possibly in the wire going to the turbo. I was confused as to how this leak could happen within a few weeks of them inspecting it. They explained to me that my best option at this point is to take my car to the dealership and have them repair it.Desired Settlement: The reason I spent money to get a vehicle inspected before purchasing is so problems such as this will not happen. Turbos on this car are also extremely expensive and I do not have funds to repair it. Therefore I was hoping that this mechanics shop will be willing to repair the vehicle or reimburse me if I take it to the dealership for repairs.
