I have attached a letter that was sent to Mr*** that he signed and sent back to us stating we were giving him a year warranty and the refund for his tear off which he receivedThere will be no additional paperwork sent for warranty as this agreement is the paper we are usingAs far as
the insulation the contract stated he was getting synthetic felt and we upgraded him to 1/2" insulation instead at no additional costI am not sure were he got 1" as that is not on the contract he signed

I am rejecting this response because:
1. The consultant assured me that the warranty comes from the manufacturer, which contradicts what the business says.2. The letter to which the business refers (attached) does not include either their address or my address, the date or type of the installation, and also lacks the signature of the owner. I have no confidence in it as a binding legal document. I do not trust the business to honor it as written, should that become necessary.
3. Certificates of warranty are provided on all manner of products large and small.  I believe that after investing $10,281 in a roof that it is reasonable to ask for a written warranty specifying the terms--including the home address and dates it is in effect, as well as the business name and address and who to contact should it be necessary--and all other normal conditions met by warranties of this nature.
