provided by IntegrityTowing was passed on to ***.The distinction must be made between "towing" of a vehicle and "recovery"of a vehicleClearly, the towing of a vehicle from where it has broken down issignificantly different than the recovery of it by the winching it out of a lake orditchThis is why MrR*** said that the ***' insurance policy should coverall the charges; the towing [up to $1000] and recovery, whatever the cost.The services provided by Integrity Towing Incwere done to safely removethe vehicle without causing further damage and restore the property to its preexisting conditionThese services mitigated the ***' risk of ongoing andfuture physical and environmental damages as a result of the motor vehicleaccidentThere are numerous authorities that conclude that insurer is responsiblefor property damage [recovery] charges as a matter of law.The other issue raised by Mrand/or Mrs*** was the amount and timeof the chargesMrR*** advised that the "Industry Standard" for an accidentwas four (4) hours plus ten percent (10%); the billed amount did not reflect that.It should be noted that the three (3) hours billed was not during businesshours; and it was during a cold winter stormThe decision was made to call in thesecond truck in order that the ***' car could be moved without sustainingadditional damage.If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact meThank you.Very truly yours,Diane W***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Integrity Towing added hours of service to our bill that were not hours of service received.  We believe our bill was created with the thought in mind that the insurance company would just pay the bill.  Integrity Towing actually said, "What do you care?  The insurance company is just going to pay the bill."  I believe what they did was fraudulent and extremely unfair for my husband and I.  We contacted integrity towing numerous times trying to understand the bill and request it be fixed to show accurate times.  Integrity Towing refused to work with us to try to fix the bill.  Please let me know if there is any other information you need from me.  I appreciate all and any help you can give with this matter.  It has been very difficult dealing with Integrity Towing.  The seem unwilling to admit any wrong doing and something needs to be down to fix this and make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else.
