I initially told the client that has made the complaint that the cost to rebuild the transmission for theJeep would be from $to $and they declinedI was able to obtain a used transmission, a (SA-10) for $(as is, no warranty)I charged them $to completely reseal thetransfer
case which is a 231, also recommended putting a better transmission in the Jeep (AX15) which is the right transmission for that motorI resealed the transmission case and gave the unit to the owner of the vehicle The owner had arranged for someone else to install the unit in the JeepThe owner called me and said the unit (transmission) did not work, so I told them to bring it to me and I'll pull it out and inspect to determine the problemI took the unit out and inspected the unit and found that it had a broken shift rail which I believe was caused by hammering the shifter stick into the unitAt that point I called an advised the client that for $I could make a working unit out of the two old ones in my possession, I still had the first one and it had a broken shift rail alsoThe client declined the new offer and said she would come and get the mrit and she picked the unit up.I pulled the transnrission and inspected it for free and offered her a good price as I believe that she is under a lot of stress and I can sympathize as I lost my step-father a few months ago under bad circumstances.I believe that I treated this client fairly and tried to impress upon her which transmission would be best but they wanted something I did not recommend

The first transmission was it Integritys recommendation since going with the most expensive did not fit the pocket. The auto mechanic recommended Integrity. The mechanic did install the transmission and the mechanic and my son called to inform *** with Integrity that the transmission installed was not working. Months after advising, had to call again to find in his schedule to check the transmission. In February I receive the call that the transmission was no good and to get another transmission would run $again. The jeep has never been driven, has not even put a mile on it since it was purchased. After being told the cost once again, after having paid $for the first transmission and then asking for another $for another transmission was not right. And *** first implied to my deceased husband that there was a warranty (days), *** should had made the repairs on the transmission without the cost of another transmission. With the frustration...*** placed the transmission in pieces in the back seat of the jeep. *** kept the original transmission to the jeep and when asked about the original transmission he said he scraped it but still had the transfer case, which my son went and picked up. I don't find that this was done fairly nor with the ethics of customer service. And yes under circumstances of death, I may not the know the whole story as my husband is now deceased to decipher the original deal made. I don't think that customer should be treated in the manner and left with a transmission that never worked properly and then ask again for the same amount of money for a second transmission

I initially told the client that has made the complaint that the cost to rebuild the transmission for the1985 Jeep would be from $1200 to $1500 and they declined. I resealed the transmission case and gave the unit to the owner of the vehicle.  The owner had arranged for someone else to install the unit in the Jeep. The owner called me and said the unit (transmission) did not work, so I told them to bring it to me and I'll pull it out and inspect to determine the problem. I took the unit out and inspected the unit and found that it had a broken shift rail which I believe was caused by hammering the shifter stick into the unit. At that point I called an advised the client that for $600 I could make a working unit out of the two old ones in my possession, I still had the first one and it had a broken shift rail also. The client declined the new offer and said she would come and get the mrit and she picked the unit up.I pulled the transnrission and inspected it for free and offered her a good price as I believe that she is under a lot of stress and I can sympathize as I lost my step-father a few months ago under bad circumstances.I believe that I treated this client fairly and tried to impress upon her which transmission would be best but they wanted something I did not recommend.
