In Response to your concerns:Customer Comment:  "I expected the work would be done in a timely manner " and, " I got all kinds of excuses why the roof had not been done but basically once I noted the roof had been sitting with shingles in the yard for 3+ months, the roof was completed...

in a month or less."Integro Roofing Response:I want to apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused during the Hurricane Harvey relief. I have reviewed your file in detail with [redacted], and as I am informed that the two of you have previously discussed, and you are aware of,   there were many logistical issues that we had to be overcome in order to make the repairs to your rental property that is located in Corpus Christi.   The aftermath of a Category 4 hurricane making landfall changes a lot of the normal "day to day" business procedures.  Not only did we have to deal with the shortage of supplies, labor demands,  the largest hurdle was getting the required Texas Department of Insurance "Approved" Engineer signed up and scheduled to inspect.  Anyone that lives down in Tier 1 can confirm this is true. In order for us to have the "designated" Texas Departement of Insurance  Engineer sign off on your roof for your Insurance Company to Re-Insure, your rental property was not a simple undertaking. We had ZERO control over the Texas Department of Insurance Engineers and the scheduling of their inspections.  We were at the mercy of their busy schedules to get that part of the process completed. This is why it took so long to schedule your roof installation. Customer Comment: "The person in charge of field work continues to threaten a lien if I do not pay and the work had not even been completed a month." Integro Roofing Response: Per our contract #19. Payments are to be made: Half down payment AND Customer agrees to our percentage of completion billing policy. Company reserves the right to billproportionately based on the percentage of work complete. Customer understands that company may issue a stop-work order if requested progress payment is notreceived. Customer agrees to pay in full at the time of completion of the Project. The maximum allowable retainage for any punch out will be 10% of original contractprice.Integro Roofing was in constant communication with your insurance company as to when the monies were released to you to in order to pay your contractor, IE. Integro Roofing.  The letter of notice of Lien was asking for you to contact Integro Roofing so that we could resolve any disputes and settle the balance of our contract. Customer Comment:"They had to do temporary repairs in November which I paid for out of the rent." Integro Roofing Response-   The disputed amount of $393.50 is for the temporary repairs.  Our records show that you never contacted or contracted Integro Roofing to complete any temporary repairs. You hired and paid another company $393.50 to install temporary repairs. Which they completed without our knowledge. This now becomes that contractor and your responsibility to invoice your insurance company for reimbursement.   We are not involved in that transaction because we were not contracted to do the temporary repairs and we did not provide labor or materials as such.   Please contact your insurance carrier for further guidance on reimbursement.  Customer Comment:"Last but not least when the roofers were putting on the roof, they did not secure roof and possums got in the roof, I am having to pay to have animals removed, I am out this money and am not asking to recover it "Integro Roofing Response:Possible possums in the attic? Integro Roofing does not see how this could be related to our scope of repairs as Integro removed all layers of shingles and sheathing/ decking from the roof and re-decked with all new plywood and installed all new shingles on the same day.  The roof was secured per the Texas Department of Insurance. The engineer signed off on the roof as installed up to Tier 1 Wind Code.Customer Desired Settlement:"Do not file a lien and no further contact from [redacted] or threats" Integro Roofing Response:A lien will not be filed until we resolve the outstanding invoice amount of $478.78  that is owed to Integro Roofing and you will receive no further communication from [redacted].  Please call me directly at [redacted] as we can amicably resolve your concerns.
