Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
This is a national business, their reply indicates:
The email form on our Contact Us page is not currently functioning. We are working to make the email form functional again. It will be restored soon
This would indicate they ARE experiencing problemsSince their business is Internet based, it is difficult to comprehend "why" bugs would exist with their customer interface for an extended period of timeI am currently overseas and it is not practicle for me to phone their customer serviceTheir reply also indicated that they don't accept credit card payments over the phoneAs I indicated: several attempts were made over the course of days to input "multiple" credit card(s) on their payment portalI could not complete any of the transactions as a "problem" with the credit card was indicatedThey have acknowledged a "problem" with their webpage but not a problem with the payment portion? I am unaware of what a phone call would resolveRegardless if their "email" customer service link works or not on their web page, I sent an email directly to customer support which, went unansweredPerhaps they should issue me a "case" number and a primary point of contact to follow up a customer concernNot a: call our toll free numberSo, that I can enter a revolving phone tree, explain the problems I have been experiencing to 1/dozen people in India that are all very sorry about my problemThat is not customer service, that will not fix the problem.Sincerely,*** ***

We are in receipt of the consumer complaint filed by Mr***. The only account I am able to locate using the information Mr*** provided has not had any transactions since December 15, 2015. It is possible that Mr*** has an account under a different email address or
name. If he can provide me with the information below, I will research this matter further: - An email address that may have been used to create the account- The first six and the last four digits of the credit/debit card and billing zip code- The order number provided on his purchase order We recommend he respond directly through the Revdex.com complaint resolution process.I look forward to receiving the additional information from Mr***

Complaint #*** Consumer: *** *** We are in receipt of the consumer complaint filed by Ms*** in connection with a Statewide Criminal Report she purchased on May 6, on the Intelius website Intelius is an online public information websiteThe information
we provide is gathered from public records and publicly available information via local, state, federal and other agenciesThis data is compiled into a comprehensive public record search that Intelius maintains with active updates from its sourcesHowever, it is important to note that not all states or every county within each state provides digital access to its records and therefore some records may be incomplete Per the Terms of Service Ms*** agreed to upon the completion of her purchase, Intelius has a no refund policyHowever, as a matter of courtesy, a customer care agent provided Ms*** with a full refund in the amount of $and a free Statewide Criminal Check report on May 8, Ms*** should note this refund on her account within the next 5-days depending on PayPal’s internal refund policy This information should successfully resolve Ms***’s complaintShould your office or Ms*** have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] Sincerely, Tara M*** SrIP & Marketing Compliance Manager www.intelius.com

Complaint #*** Consumer: *** *** We are in receipt of the consumer complaint filed by Ms***Intelius is an online public information website which collects and compiles public records and publicly available information via local, state, federal and other agenciesFor
additional information regarding how we collect and share an individual’s information we recommend viewing our Privacy Policy located at http://www.peopleconnect.us/privacy Per Ms***’s request, we have removed her information from the Intelius database, as well as our affiliated websitesHowever, it is important to remember that the procedure to opt out is temporaryIntelius is constantly updating its database with new public recordsIt is possible that an individual may need to resubmit a request to opt out for any new records that may have been added to its database since their last opt out requestWhile we are unable to anticipate how, when, or even if information will reappear on our sites, we will be more than happy to remove an individual’s information upon request. Managing personal information through the Intelius opt-out service is just one step in eliminating its availabilityThere are many other sites that may provide similar information found on our sitePublic records sites, search engines, social networking sites and other online companies provide different levels of information about individuals This information should successfully resolve Ms***’s complaintShould your office or Ms*** have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] Sincerely, Tara M*** SrIP & Marketing Compliance Manager www.intelius.com

Complaint #Consumer: *** *** We are in receipt of the consumer complaint filed by Mr*** in connection with his US Search OmniSearch Monthly Membership Per his request, US Search removed Mr*** from the membership program on October 12, Mr***
subsequently filed a chargeback complaint with his financial institution on November 14, in connection with his last membership fee on October 8, Since this charge is pending with the bank’s consumer dispute resolution process, we are unable to offer a refund of this charge at this time Since Mr*** is no longer enrolled in the monthly membership plan, there will be no additional charges to his account going forwardPer the Terms of Service, US Search does not provide refunds, however, I have provided him a courtesy refund of his September 8, membership fee in the amount of $Mr*** should note this refund on his billing statement within the next to days, depending on his financial institution’s billing cycle and internal refund policies This information should successfully resolve Mr***’ complaint Sincerely, Tara M*** SrIP & Marketing Compliance Manager www.ussearch.com

Complaint #*** Consumer: *** *** We are in receipt of Ms***’ rebuttal response As stated in my earlier response, I have already removed Ms***’ information from the Intelius website Information on how to remove information from the Intelius website and our opt out procedures can be found In Section “Updating or Removing Your Information” of the Intelius Privacy Policy located at http://www.peopleconnect.us/privacy Specifically, the Privacy Policy states: “In connection with the Intelius and US Search Services, public records are available from the official public records custodian or repository to anyone who requests themIn addition to public records, personal information may be publicly or commercially availablePublicly available information consists of online and offline information that is generally available but is not maintained by a government agency, such as names, addresses and telephone numbers of individuals and businesses, professional licensing and trade organization information, press releases and newspaper articles and content from blogs or social networking sitesCommercial records consist of information that is maintained by enterprises and is available for purchase, such as marketing and telemarketing lists, phone connect and disconnect information, and business profile dataAs a courtesy, we enable you to opt out your personal information from the Intelius and US Search databasesWhat this means is that your name as it appears in a particular record and the associated identifying information such as your address and phone number will be suppressed if you request this in the manner described belowHowever, please note that any time your identifying information appears in a public record or in a publicly or commercially available manner, in a way that is different from the particular record you opted out, it may again appear in our databasesFor example, if your address or area code changes, your new information (including other associated identifying information) may again appear unless you opt out the new recordSimilarly, if the way in which your name or address appears in a record differs from a record you opted out (e.g., "Michael" instead of "Mike," or "Second AVE NE" instead of "1212-2nd Avenue Northeast"), we may include the differing recordPlease also note that there may be more than one record in our databases associated with your personal informationOpting out one particular record will not opt out other record(s)An opt-out will apply from the processing date forward; any report purchased prior to your opt-out will still be available to the purchaser thereof in accordance with the terms of the applicable ServicesThere are many other companies offering public records search services, and your request that we opt out your information from our databases will not prevent your information from appearing on these other servicesThe quickest and simplest way to have your information removed from our databases is to send us a request onlineYou can also submit an opt-out request via postal mailRegardless of which method you choose, in order for us to suppress your personal information from appearing in our databases, we need to verify your identityTo do this, we need proof of identity, consisting of either: A copy of a government-issued ID with any photo or ID number crossed outExamples: driver's license, U.Spassport, U.Smilitary ID card, state-issued ID card, or employee ID card from a state agency; orA notarized Identity Verification FormWe will only use this information to process your opt-out requestOnline If you opt-out online, please be sure to include your email address so that we can notify you both when your request is received and when we've completed your opt-outIntelius Online Opt-Out Form Mail If you submit your opt-out request via postal mail, in addition to your proof of identity, please include the following so we can accurately identify your records: NameDate of BirthAddress Here is the contact information for submitting your request: P.OBox Bellevue, WA 98009- Your information will be removed from our database in approximately 7-daysOpt-out requests must be submitted to us individually by the subject of a particular recordBulk opt-out requests will not be fulfilled.” This information should successfully resolve Ms***’ complaint and Intelius now considers this matter closed Sincerely, Tara M*** SrIP & Marketing Compliance Manager www.intelius.com

Issue has been resolved.Sincerely, *** ***

Intelius customers are presented with a two tier pricing structure when purchasing reports on the Intelius website. They have the option of paying the full price, or a discounted promotional price which includes a 7-Day Pass of the Intelius Premier Plus Membership. When a customer
selects the promotional price, they are presented the benefits of the membership and the terms and conditions of the offer, including billing. By choosing to proceed with the purchase at the promotional price, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions of the promotional offer. In this case, the promotional offer was accepted and the Intelius Premier Plus 7-Day Pass was activated. The Intelius Premier Plus 7-Day Pass provides reports which can include name, age, aliases, address history, phone numbers, email addresses, and relatives. When the Background Report search credit which was provided with the Intelius Premier Plus 7-Day Pass was consumed, the membership immediately charged the monthly cost for the membership. Before the search credit was consumed, Mr*** would have received a prompt confirming the use of the search credit and the charge which he would receiveThe Intelius Premier Plus Membership was canceled on 3/28/2016. The charge of $was refunded on 4/1/2016. This refund will appear on Mr***’s statement in one of the next two billing cycles, depending on the closing date. No future membership charges will occur. We appreciate your cooperation in resolving this matter and apologize for any inconvenience
