Our records show he was added to our email newsletter list sometime in December for reasons that are still unclear to
usIt could have been a simple typo, or he could have been mistakenly optvia one of our forms submitted at a live trade show or online whitepaper subscriptionOur records show he received two emails containing our standard one-click unsubscribe link, address and phone number this springonce on 4-and again with a follow up on 4-9as part of a spring product update to potential customers
Our records show one of those two emails was opened and the individual clicked through to our sitea resultand our team failed to recognize this email address was misfiled until our summer update email went out to individuals on 7-16, just a few weeks agoThe individual received a single email from our CEO on that date (the third from us in six months), opted-out by unsubscribing, and was automatically removed from the systemThis email featured unsubscribes in two locations, along with our address and contact infoTo our knowledge, he has not been called or contacted again from our email client or any of our employeesin fact, our email system blocks these addresses and makes it impossible for us to do so
We didn't have a chance to relay this when this particular individual called our offices to relay his displeasure, but we are sorry for any inconvenience our mistake may have causedWe are aware this happened, and are working on improving the way we handle our trade show contests to avoid this happening again
In short: At Intelivideo, we hate spam tooThis is our first complaint in the over three years we've been in businessAccidents like this can and will happen, email remains the preferred and least-intrusive format of customer communication, and the sheer quantity of communication like this requiredto partners, customers, potential customers, and clientswill only increase in the coming yearsWe want to do everything we can to avoid sending emails to customers who don't specifically request them, and avoid this happening in the future

This sg is as big a liar as he is a lowlife scumbagI made no such opt in request, and to suggest that my e-mail address was entered as a "typo" suggests he believes the rest of the world is as stupid as he isThese clowns have been repeatedly spamming me with their scam junkmailI have opted OUT several times, yet it continuesWhen I told him specifically to STOP spamming me, the lowlife went on my website and tried sending me anonymous obscene joke and threatening messagesMy e-mail system tracks IP's, and his showed up with the messagesWhen you are A sg, and a liar, these things happen, and you get caughtThis company is a scam, they serve NO legitimate purpose in the business community, and the public should be made aware so as to avoid themThe complaint stands
