Review: When I signed with Intel-tech it was for a 3 year contract on May [redacted], 2012. The salesman I used was a person that was referred to me from a business that we owned. When I signed this lease it was known to him that this security system was for only 3 years and I was house hunting. That we were going to move the system to our home when we bought it. Which I did. The salesman [redacted] when we moved to our new home and upgraded the system he asked me to sign off on a piece of paper. I asked if this was another contract. I was told me it was NOT another contract that I needed to sign it to prove that I have gotten my upgrade and had the system installed. When we were finished construction for the home we bought I needed another upgrade. Where [redacted] quoted me a $600 price tag for the sensors I needed. I felt that was too much money and wanted to opt out of the system and get another one in May when my contract expired. That is when I found out that he did in fact have me sign a 5 year contract under false pretenses. I was extremely upset because not only did my husband remember this conversation when I signed that piece of paper for the upgrade at my new home but [redacted] lied to me. Since then I have been threatened with legal action with [redacted] of the company and was harassed by [redacted]. Now they will not talk to me or my husband and is giving us the run around. I simply do not feel safe with this security system. Nor with the service. They are running a shady security business and my home is in jeopardy. I need help. I signed a contract under false pretenses and that was not fair.Desired Settlement: All I want is to end my contract peacefully that [redacted] understands that [redacted] had me sign a paper under false pretenses and that is not how a security business should run. I want my contract to end the proper date May [redacted], 2015 and not a day later. With the threats from the intelli-tec owner I really do not feel my home is safe any longer.
