2/23/16 At my first stop at shop Brian (shop owner )informed me that GM truck where known for lifter knocks after high mileage. He recommended trying an additive because of the cost factor with doing a complete lifter job. At this point, I believed I was getting a diagnosis for the problem. After trying addictive with no success- I agreed to have turning leaf do a lifter job. I continued to experience problem. I brought truck back to shop on 2 occasions. The first time, Brian stated that a rocker arm was loose and  needed to be adjusted. On 8/04/15, I ask Brian to take time and look at truck again and resolve problem because knocking continued during highway driving. He agreed to pay for rental car and go through work again. Additional work was done with no success. When I confronted Brian again that the original problem was not resolved and the truck was running worse- he suggested that he was willing to do additional work at my request specifically change the oil pump. I brought truck to another shop for evaluation. The oil pump was tested and in working order. I agreed to have work done based on the diagnosis given to me at shop. The work done did not resolve problem and caused truck to have additional problems (rough idle). I am asking for a full refund at this time.[redacted]
