I responded to the service call Sunday.? I explanined the air vent was defective causing water to exit the boiler at degrees.? I replaced it an at no time told him I did not need to do it.? If I did not replace it, I could have never turned the boiler back on an told him before hand it was not covered and the charge was for labor and parts.? I was interrogated repeatedly by both the husband and wife as to why this occurred, what was needed and the was continually questioned like I was the enemy.I did discuss other potential issues with regard to why boilers act up and I told them there are many possibilities for a boiler to make the noise they heard since the boiler was off when I got there as it heated up and was running fineI told them the triple aqua-stat was bad also not covered by their contract but I adjusted it to get them through the weekend.? This included a bad water feeder also not covered by their contract.? All of this I told them and put in writing (My work ticket is attached).? They never called to have the work done yet just weeks later they called to have their annual heater cleaning which is covered under their contract.? They did not mention any boiler issues and no conversation was had with the service tech about any issues? during their heater cleaning. With regard to my being in a hurry - this should have been a minute call which turned into and 1/because of all the interrogating.? There is no way they had no heat for days, because I spoke to him when he didn't pay a bill and listened to him again with dissatisfaction with the cost - which at the end of the conversation he said he would pay

Review: I called up Inter county and told them I want 150 gallons of oil. They then delivered it but when I came home the receipt said 242 gallons and they filled it up when I said only 150 on the phone. I called them up and said there has been a mistake and I only asked for 150 gallons. They told me I was on automatically delivery which I had no idea. What happened was I bought my house from my grandmom who had automatically delivery. The thing is I called before they even delivered the oil and said I need 150 gallons. They said don't know what they could do for me so I said why don't you just pump 92 gallons out of my tank. They said alright ill send the service manager out in a few days. When the service manager came he came in and was very rude. First thing he said is there is no way we are pumping the oil out it takes to much time. So I said have to pay so much extra cause of the company's screw up. He then proceeded to say I don't know what to do. I just said pump out 92 gallons and it will be done. He said ok ill be out next week. I then received a letter in the mail that said they will take legal action if they do not receive full payment.Desired Settlement: I want then to take the 92 gallons out of my tank like they said they would because of the miscommunication on their part. Plus refund my money for the 92 gallons because I'm going to pay the bill in full so don't have to go through court and all

Response:

In response to this customer's complaint:

1. When this customer called, he ordered the delivery under his grandmother's name (name on the account)

2. The original owner of the house did not contact us to be removed from automatic delivery, nor did they let us know that they are no longer the owner of the house and a new account should be set up.

3. Our office does not recall him ordering 150 gallons. Since the account is on automatic delivery, had this conversation happened, he would have been told that he would need to have the tank filled, due to being on automatic delivery. At this point, we would have known that he was the new owner.

4. If he did purchase this property, he or the previous owner should have contacted our company to set up a new account in his name

Enclosed is the signed automatice delivery form that was signed by the original owner (name on the account).
