Total BS - IBG's inspection means zero
I've also had a inspector from IBG come out after I complained of sagging on a 3 year old mattress in otherwise perfect condition that has a 10 year warranty (Sealy). When he was here he said it was obvious as soon as he walked into the room and when he did his little test he showed me how clear it was and not to worry (I had expressed doubt since I know how these companies scam people on warranties) because even though he's not supposed to say anything, "it's clear that this should be covered under warranty and there's no way they can say there isn't an issue." Guess what, IBG's email I got said "Mattress measures normal impressions, within manufacturers guidelines." When I called Integrated Bedding Group their voicemail says "If we did you're inspection already then we are done." I'll be letting the court decide how "done" we are now since they seem to have no desire to ever do the right or professional thing.

I have a similar issue with my mattress, and it is not even 5 month old. I am trying to find their e-mail address.

customer, took a picture of it, noted and drew a picture of it on our disclosure page, showed the disclosure page to the customer and the customer to sign acknowledging the stain and that the technician left her with no expectation of outcome or expectation of results. The tech is reporting facts found only. It is the manufacturer that determines outcome - not the tech or Integrated Bedding Group. We are not a party to the warranty and have no say in what the manufacturer determines. The issue should be brought up with the manufacturer who holds the warranty and determines their criteria and policy. We are just a messenger.

Your company is hired by Sleep Train to inspect the mattress. As a contractor you inspect the bed and based on your report the manufacture determines the outcome. The decision is based solely on your report nothing else. I was surprised by the stain comment as he DID NOT discuss a stain with me. I called Sleep Train immediately once I heard that he wrote a stain on the sheet. I submitted evidence that the bed is not soiled and then you stop communicating with me. I have only asked that you rescind your report so I can hire a company that will inspect my mattress properly.

I am very sorry for your situation. A sent report cannot be rescinded. The report is in Sleep Trains file. We are not Sleep Train. I suggest you request a reinspection by the store if you have removed the stain and wish to pursue. We only send in the facts found.
