Paid for shades ordered via Interior Elements roughly two months ago. They are yet to be delivered.Interior Elements submitted the wrong order to their supplier though I painstakingly stated my preference in person and in an email. When the installer showed up with incorrect shades, both he and Interior Elements assured me the problem would be fixed as soon as possible. Two weeks later when I called to check up, they came back to my home to re-measure even though measurement was not the problem. Again I was assured I would get the blinds possibly in a 5 day turn around. This was approximately two months ago. Despite calls to both parties, I am still without shades.Desired SettlementI wish to have the correct shades installed within the next 5 business days. If that is not possible, I wish a refund so that I can purchase them from someone else.Business Response Original order was placed correctly by the vendor associated with my company. At installation, it was discovered that the custom shades were manufactured incorrectly. The Owner of the shade company visited the home, assessed the clients change order to the original and reordered the correct shades needed for the project. This was not a simple "retro fit". Contact to update Ms. [redacted] regarding her shades is documented by emails and phone messages. The "projected" time of shipping and installation was quoted by phone. At this time, I am unable to guaranty a 5 day installation for Ms. [redacted]. I believe I have made every attempt to rectify the problem and continue to do so. Contact was made on 11/4/14 by phone to discuss her concerns. I will continue to keep her informed and will schedule an installation date as soon as they arrive in Raleigh.Consumer Response Received a call from Interior elements this morning starting that the original error in order was on the side of their contractor. There have been few ongoing emails and calls regarding the shades. Last voice mail was on Oct 20 stating "I have talked with [redacted] and have information about the shades". It didn't say what information and no email was sent to explain it. I was, however, told in person that day (Oct 20) that the shades would be installed first week of November. They need to be installed this week. Final Business Response Clients shade replacement order continues to be addressed. Urgency on Interior Elements side and Vendor for shades continue. Phone contact and emails continue. Status of delivery and installation will be provided to client as soon as possible to rectify original complaint.
