thank you for taking my call earlier this morning.I will not mention any thing to offend the [redacted] family, as they are passing through a rough time with [redacted] ; [redacted] husband, being ill for the past days and hospitalized.All I want is for their closets to be completed, and for me to get the balance of payments which is 1000$I understand that its hard to schedule a time to complete the closets because of Mr [redacted] illness, however I do not want his illness to be a reason not to pay me the balance as all their closets are functional, but need to be tweaked to their satisfaction which I have no problem doing and have all the necessary parts to do sohowever they have the upper hand as they have a 99% complete closet at lower than cost price!!May I add that I have agreed and ordered the necessary items to replace a unit on which she had changed her mindwhich should be paid by her, however I have a agreed that I will not charge them for it and that I would absorb the cost just for them to stay happy.***, please advise on what would be the next stepThanksLuxury for Every Budget

I am rejecting this response because: There is hardly any truth in this response aside from the fact that our family is indeed going through a medical emergency and I had to ask *** to reschedule the appointment by daysHowever, *** availability seems to be limited and he has pushed the appointment by more weeks( from October to Sept 12).I would like to see this company finishing up the work as it was agreed in the contractThere have been NO CHANGE from my side but *** (he calls himself the owner of Interior Motif) seems to have his own definition of 'functional' and '99% completeness' that is not as per our contractChanging a third of the closet (and this applies to closets) is a significant change which resulted completely from bad measurements and insufficient supplies at their endOther closets are also missing shelves and drawersAs such we had wire racks in closets before this and they were 'functional' too All conversations are documented on email. this email only shows a callous disregard not only to customer priorities, labor and prior agreements but also the value of the services that his company aims to provideThis is very visible in *** communication repeatedlyI'd rather this company finish their pending 30% or so work and then ask for balance paymentI wonder what is the right way of dealing with a service that a) is late, inaccurate and incomplete b) puts the customer at enormous inconvenience c) is disrespectful.What should be the 'cost' of these pains?
