The shower pan was indeed leakingWe have photos to prove the rot under the shower panWe informed the customer at that time, our first first step is to replace the pan under the tile shower floor,since it was in desperate needThe floor was unstable and weak to even stand on itWe also replaced the sill, the wood underneath and re tiled the shower floorThe wood under the pan was so rotted that it crumbledAlso have photosSince this appeared to be the major problem at that time, it was replaced firstThe customer saw the rot and was told by the technician that the grout was in bad shapeThe customer did not want to do the regrout of showerWhen the customer called to say it was still leaking, the plastic was put up to make sure our work of the pan was not leakingIt proved the water leaks through the groutThe grout in the bathroom is disintegrating and in major need of repairWe warranty all work completedWe returned as needed to verify that our work was correctWe insisted on leaving the plastic up for a few weeks of use to eliminate possibilities of areas with leakage
