11/**/14.  Out of the 4 items ordered, we truly apologize for having cancelled 2 items of the items.   In our research to resolve this claim we were able to locate one of the items.  Item #8888194808 for the Nili Lotan Embroidered Floral Western Shirt-SIZE:P COLOR:white was found and we will be sending [redacted] this item for FREE.  Additionally we cancelled item #8888189657 for the Only Hearts Spaghetti Strap Tank Underlayer,  in the color black size S.  Though we no longer have this item in black we do have one in nude and will also be shipping this item out to her FREE of charge.  Both items will go our today using [redacted] as our carrier, and the tracking number will be sent to [redacted]. In her complaint [redacted] mentioned that we charged her $455.78, though she is correct this charge was voided the following day.  The final charge to [redacted]'s credit card was $96.60 after a credit was processed of $13.30.  Therefore [redacted] was only charged for the 2 items she received.  In addition to the two (2) FREE items we will be shipping today, we offered [redacted] a 15% discount on her next online order for all Full Prices items in her cart.  This offer is not to be combined with any other offer, used in store, or on prior purchases.   The code she can use is [redacted] This offer expires 12/**/14.   We called her today to let her know we would br responding to the complaint.  Unfortunately we were only able to leave a detailed voice message, regarding our resolution to this claim.Adain we are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and hope that [redacted] will continue to shop with us in the future.Kind Regards,[redacted]

I heard about these guys on the radio and decided to give them a shout. I was looking to complete my basement so I can rent out for pay down my mortgage. I called, I think it was after business hours, I left a message and the next day, I got a call from them. The agent (i dunno what else to call him ) told me someone would come take a look at my place on a free first visit consultation. which they did by the weekend because it was a bit tough for me during the week due to work and I didnt want anyone visiting my house at night. They offered me a couple of design options and got me a quote. I had also gotten another quote from another developer. The other guys were a bit cheaper. I dunno, I just went with Platinum because of some of the pictures I saw of their projects and the reviews on Homestars.com. Anyways, long story short, basement was completed 2 weeks ago (it took 2 months to complete) and I have to say I am happy with how it turned out. Good decision in the end and friendly staff.

On July **, I placed an order on intermix.com for 2 items.
On July ** (5 days later) I was notified that 1 of the items was shipped.
On July ** (7 days after I placed my order) I sent an email to Intermix inquiring regarding the status of my order (I hadn't received either of the items).
On July **, I called Intermix to inquire regarding the status of my order (it had been 1 full business day and they had not replied to my email and still no updates regarding my items). The customer service associate was very nice, but said the 2nd item was not in stock. She said they sent me an email to let me know and a discount code.
The reasons for my negative review are as follows:
-Their website states that their processing time is 1-2 days. However, the 1st item was not shipped for 5 days and the 2nd item not shipped at all.
-The 1st and 2nd items were matching ... now I only have half of a matching outfit.
-They did not let me know the 2nd item was not in stock. They said they sent me an email. I received all of their marketing emails and all of their order emails and there was nothing in my spam folder, so I find it hard to believe that they did indeed send the email.
-They did not reply to my email inquiry (most companies will let you know that your inquiry was received and give you a time frame of when they will reply).
-The discount they offered due to the out of stock item was 15% off their full price merchandise. No thank you. I like to purchase items on sale.
-The same inventory issue could happen again if I made another purchase, as their inventory system does not keep track of their online and store purchases.
-Not worth it to try again now or in the future (many other great companies with the same merchandise and great customer service. I unsubscribed from their emails.

Review: I placed an order on 11/*/2014 and noticed it had not shipped five days later so I contacted Intermix (they never pick up the phone so email is best) and was told all was fine and it would ship out soon on 11/**/14. Then I was charged 45.78 that afternoon (none of the items had that price) so I contacted them again and they said my order had been separated into three packages and two would ship out on 11/**/14 and another one soon after. That night I got an email that one of the items had been cancelled in my order. When I asked why they said that when they went to process the order five business days after it was placed, there were none. Wouldn't their inventory system mark off inventory that has been sold? Apparently not. I was also told my order had been canceled. So what is it, is one item canceled? Why is Intermix still selling the top they say I cannot get? Why did they not tell me when I originally asked on 11/** or 11/** instead of waiting a week after the order had been placed. And why did they tell me on 11/** that my complete order was in the process of being fulfilled. There is a pattern of deceit when it comes to placing orders with Intermix. Perhaps this only happens with their sale items and they do not take order seriously nor understand sales are legally binding contracts but as of now I am out of merchandise valued at 713 USD which I in good faith ordered on Intermix website at the various sale prices which summed 158.20 USD.Desired Settlement: I want intermix to locate my items which were purchased and deliver. It is breach of contract to enter into a sale agreement and pull back with no notice or repar restitution. Furthermore, they have a track record of going MIA. In May of 2014 my sister ordered some shoes and it took them over two weeks to decide they could no longer fulfill her order after sending her mismatched pair of shoes. I seek an Intermix gift card in the original value of each canceled item aka for the Nili Lotan canceled blouse 245.00 dollars in order to enable me to purchase something comparable, and so forth.

Review: I placed an order for a pair of shoes on Wednesday May [redacted] Said item was marked as shipped by [redacted] store on May [redacted] yet not actually received by UPS until the weekend. Upon receipt of shoes on Friday, May ** I was horrified to discover one shoe sized 7.5 and one sized 8. In addition, both shoes are extremely scuffed so much so they were definitely used on numerous occasions and then returned. I called as soon as these were received and web support had no idea what was going so I was forwarded to an Intermix specific customer support line, yet, no one picked up and so I left a message. My sister tweeted about it and was told I should email customer service so I did that same day. No response. Upon an additional tweet on Tuesday May [redacted] my sister was asked for my order email so they could reach out to me. They did on Wednesday May [redacted] and said they would accept my return (as sales are final) and see if they could find the shoes. After not hearing back I called Intermix Friday, May ** and again did no answered so left a message saying I would prefer to get the correct order first and then send them back and radio silence. On Monday June [redacted] I received a call from Intermix ([redacted]) saying they would be happy to accept the return but the shoes are now sold out. As an apology, they offered a 10% discount.

Returned their call and spoke to [redacted] who basically had nothing to say other than conveying they were not truly sorry. Not only does the experience above detail Intermix's negligent behavior towards correcting an employee error (as it was a [redacted] employee that opted to ship two different shoes) but they also refused to do so. The shoes are set to be delivered to Intermix today June [redacted] and I request Intermix fulfill their contractual duty and deliver the purchased black pointy toe pumps. Rather than pick up the phone and solve the issue on May [redacted] they essentially guaranteed I would not get the shoes as they offered steeper discounts on the shoes and had me waiting.Desired Settlement: I request Intermix locate and deliver a pair of the Jean Michel Cazabat Cap Pointy Toe Suede Pump: Black in 37.5 I originally ordered or provide an adequate replacement such as the Sergio Rossi Godiva Piper Pointy Toe Pump: Black at the purchase price of the unfulfilled shoes ASAP. Additionally, an apology is necessary as the attitude and lack of customer service is clearly indicative of their disdain for customers. If said shoes cannot be procured then I request a 500 gift card so I can justify spending the money to procure them elsewhere.

Review: Clothes Purchased On their online site the order was partially canceled by then but money have yet to be refunded to me. They said an automated email was sent but never recieved after speaking with them they said they could not resend email they had on there site with my account that order was fulfilled but when called to see why things where not arriving they stated order was canceled 2 weeks prior.Desired Settlement: I would like refund of items not sent

Your items were all sale items, this is why the promotion did not work. Regarding your being charged for the items you did not receive. Our system only charges for items shipped. When your order was received your credit was only authorized for the full amount. An authorization is not a charge/settlement. This authorization was then voided as it was determined the items were not available. The authorization was adjusted on the [redacted] and [redacted]. Then on the [redacted] the settlement was for the final total captured in the amount of $ 162.13 and charged to your credit card.

Review: I purchased items from one of intermix locations I paid cash for the items and before I left the store I decided I no longer wanted the items but was told they could not give me back my cash even though I had just paid with cash no more than five minutes prior. So they gave me a return receipt stating I would be refunded by check. This was done on december ** 20014, I waited two weeks and when I hadn't received neither check I called the store and was informed that they could send out the check whenever they pleased. Today is december [redacted] and I still haven't received the checks and to date I haven't been able to speak to any one at the corporate office. I find myself concerned with this companies handling of my cash purchase?return.Desired Settlement: At this time all I want is my money returned back to me in a timely manner.

Review: I returned a pair of shoes to this company using the return label they provided on Aug **. After 10 days of not hearing anything from them I called. They kept telling me they did not receive the shoes. I finally got a tracking number from ups. Ups said that intermix had signed and received the package on the [redacted] of Aug. I have called them everyday since and still have not received a refund. They keep telling me it is being processed by the distribution center. I don't believe they have a right to keep the shoes and my money for 14 days.

Review: There's a sign that says 15% off for items purchased $400-$999. We purchased a pair of shoes $975 and the sales clerk didn't inform us that it excludes all name brand items. Everything in the store is name brand. The signage is in big black fonts regarding the discount and apparently in tiny ant-like font regarding the exclusions.

If you are going to have exclusions, you are going to have to make the signage readable.Desired Settlement: Please call me back

Review: There was insufficient information on the website and throughout the purchase process that an item was final sale. On the product page, there was no messaging that indicated the item was final sale except for when you clicked on the product information, which on apparel sites typically indicates the measurements and material composition of the garment. Even clicking on the shipping and return information, all that was mentioned was "Enjoy free shipping and easy returns online or in any of our boutiques. Read our FAQs for more information." Furthermore, for other final sale items, the words "Final Sale" are listed next to the price, misleading the consumer into believing that this is where they final sale information is provided. At checkout, nothing said final sale.Desired Settlement: I'd like to return the item for a full refund and for Intermix to clearly and overtly state when items are final sale on the product pages and in the check out process.

Review: There are several issues with this company. I originally purchased two items from their online website (order #[redacted]) on November *, 2014. If I proceed as US shopper, the prices in USD is lower than what I am being charged. US shopper price on a jacket I purchased is USD 55.30 and my price is USD 60.83. I took screen shots of everything and am more than happy to send these along.

When asked why I am paying more than US shoppers, they said these costs include, but aren’t limited to, import taxes and international shipping costs. Meanwhile they claim to be offering free international shipping. So are they are falsely advertising free international shipping when they're not? This is an unfair and unethical practice that international customers have to pay more when we still have to pay for exchange rate and duties at checkout. This is like double dipping.

Secondly, the jacket I bought is made in the USA and are not subject to duties but yet I am being charged for duties. The tax for ** province is 12% and I am paying way more than 12% as detailed in the Duties & Taxes section of my final invoice copied below.

Item Subtotal: USD 60.83

Shipping: FREE

Duties & Taxes: USD 15.58

Order Discount: USD -0.00

Total: USD 76.41

Thirdly, item availability is not guaranteed and there is no warning about this on their website. I originally purchased two items and received order confirmation, but 5 days later I received an order cancellation on one of the items.

I would request that a refund to my credit card for the difference of USD 5.53 (from $60.83 - $55.30) AND the duties & taxes calculated based on USD 60.83. I should only be paying for 12% taxes of USD 55.30 which is $6.64. Another words, the total should have been USD 61.94 and I should receive a refund of USD 14.47.
