Price Brothers Management response to 11234729-Mr*** moved out of his apartment as Regents Center Apartments on February 16, 2016. This was the end of his contract dated February 15, with Regents Center (prior owned by Resource Management). Mr*** references conversations
had with the prior staff and states he moved out in October 2015. Price Brothers Management did not own Regents Center Apartments until February 12, and cannot speak to any prior agreements or conversations had at that time. Per the lease agreement and Utility Addendum (attached), paragraph 4: You will be charged for the full period of time that you were living in, occupying, or responsible for payment of rent or utility charges on the dwelling. If you breach the Lease, you will be responsible for utility charges for the time period you were obliged to pay the charges under the Lease, subject to our mitigation of damages. In the event you fail to timely establish utility services, we may charge you for any utility service billed to us for your dwelling and may charge a reasonable administration fee for billing for the utility service in the amount of $50.00. Mr*** was billed $for KCPL service 1/15/through 2/16/and $for KCPL service 12/15/through 1/15/2016. Mr*** was also charged an administration fee of $for January and February per his Utility Addendum as stated above. In a good faith effort, Price Brothers removed these fees totaling $and sent a revised move out statement of fees to Mr***.The remaining charges on Mr***'s account at move out were for damages in the apartment and do not relate to his lease term or his utility bills.
