Revdex.com[redacted] Dear [redacted],This letter is in response to complaint ID [redacted]. [redacted] ordered a pair of Simms RiverTek BOA boots, size 13. We have a 20% off special on overstocked sizes, which included size 5, 7,13, & 14. Retail price...

for this item Is $199.95, with the sale they are $159.96. [redacted]'s order was shipped 2/15, she received the boots on 2/17. On 2/21 she emailed concerning the size 13 boots looked used. (We do not sell used equipment.) Our response via email was we could exchange the boots for another new pair, size 13. On 2/22 she emailed wanting a size 12, which was not on sale. Then also on 2/22, [redacted] called our shop to inquire about the exchange/transaction, explaining she needed the size 12. Our employee explained the same thing about the size 12 boots, where not on sale and she could pay the difference. She was upset and let my employee know it. In an irate manner, she threatened to ruin our business and spread the word about our company, she in turn hung up the phone on our employee. About an hour later [redacted]'s boyfriend, [redacted], the recipient of the boots, called and agreed to pay $25.00 (instead of $40.00), to make the exchange. At this point we shipped the size 12 boots, completing the transaction. I had been out of town at the time of this incident. When I returned your notice came in the mail. I then started my inquiry into this issue. If [redacted] or [redacted] would like to return the new, unused boots fora full refund, we will accommodate their wish. The entire transaction was unfortunate. First off she claimed we sent her a used pair of boots. That is not true, we looked at the boots upon return and they are in brand new condition. Then she wanted a different size, which was not on sale. In my opinion that is what made her upset. We ship items for FREE, but do not offer return shipping. Review: I ordered a pair of Simms size 13 Rivertek boa boots (retail $199.99) for a two year anniversary gift. Upon receiving the boots they were smudged, marked and clearly NOT new. When my boyfriend tried them on they were two big. So I cAlled and spoke to someone who said PAY to ship them back ($16) and then for me to PAY to ship the new pair (11.95) but he said no problem the boots would be sent. So I did this. Then I get an email stating that the size 12 were no longer available at this sale price! So I call and The guy was EXTREMELY rude he said the guy I spoke with was only a "part time employee". I asked him why I could no longer get the 12 after the employee on the phone said I could this morning. He just laughed and said we will credit your account for the boots. So I said instead of sending me the 12 you would rather just credit me for the 13's. He stated yes that the 12 are $50 more and that they do pretty good with business and he didn't need my sale. He then said to say whatever I want about the company told me I was wasting his time. I was appalled. I will NEVER do business with this company again. So now my gift to my boyfriend is ruined and I am out over $30 in shipping costs!! Never ever ever again and I advise no one to do business with this horrible company.Desired Settlement: I would like Contact from the company a refund for $200 and also to be refunded for the $35 in shipping I had to pay to send them back and then to send the new pair I was promised but will not be receiving. Or I would like the size 12 that I paid for and was promised for the same price as the 13 like I was also promised by the employee.
