I have reviewed the response made by the business in
reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
In response to the owners comment- The mechanic installed a belt around the clutch to my A/C compressor- the damage to the clutch directly caused the a/c compressor to malfunction- I never had an issue with the a/c clutch or compressor prior to the installation of the belt around the clutch and the noise began directly after my vehicle came back from repair- the cost of the repair was over $( I am happy to provide my receipts)- The owner of Phil's automotive offered me 10% off the part- not the repair- this would be just under $off over $in damage, further more the mechanic quoted me for a hour job when in actuality it was less than an hour to replace the part- I had the work done at *** *** and it was less expensive than Phil even if you took the $off he offered- basically he inflated the service time to overcharge to make up for and more what he was discounting for a part they already get at a discounted price from *** *** - I verified this with the store myselfI dont consider an inflated price for damage caused by the automotive shop to be any kind of resolution to this issue

Revdex.com spoke to Phil today. He stated that they looked at the consumer's vehicle and the serpentine belt did not cause the a/c compressor noise. They offered 10% of this repair which the consumer had declined.
