Review: Dear Sir,Two days back on 5/**/2014, I went to NYC Time Square with my cousins. We saw Ipad mini ad in window and went and asked the rate for ipad mini retina. He told he can give for $329 plus tax. AS this was better rate than [redacted]'s rate of $369 and Apple store rate of $399, we told we will buy.He asked me the passport and credit card, so that he can register my name with apple. Once I gave him, after couple of minutes, he gave a receipt showing 544.33. It said $329 plus registration charge $85, surcharge $15 and 1 outter guard - $69.99 and tax 44.37. WE refuted and told we don't want the product and put the money back to my credit card. He told he can't give back the money and they have no refund policy and it is clearly written in the shop. We told we were only told 329 plus tax. As my cousins were standing little further, he said he explained me everything, which was total lie. Immediately another large guy standing near told the shop guy told and I accepted, which I have no idea.My cousin started to refuse loudly and those two guys started to shout at him and told to step aside as he never bought it.They told if we sign we can take the product, otherwise they will not give the money back. As he told that outter protection is for extra 1 year, I told I don't want any additional gurantee and at least give me that 69.99 back, he told apple store is not giving back (but later I found it was not any gurantee but he charged for outer protection sticker which is only $4).My cousin told we will call 911 and he told you can call and I have explained all the charges and will not refund and those guys were very much threatening. I told to my cousin to be calm and see later. Another guy told he will refund the 44.37 tax amount and it will be done only from 2 to 72 hours after. I was afraid of those guys and thought better come out without harming our life.I signed and later saw the receipt was changed ipad mini-$429 and no 1 yr guarantee. It was total fraud. They ripped by $200.Desired Settlement: Please ask him to honor what he really accepted to us, $329 plus tax for Ipad mini with retina display. Please ask to refund to my card all the balance amount (he charged $543.33).Thanks Revdex.com if that happens. I will be in US only till July ** and I am leaving back home.
