Review: This company had a representative contact me. A [redacted]. He offered me a job with this company finding accommodations for college and university students and doing reports on cities and accommodations. The rate promised was $27.50 per hour to start for a 3 week trial and then increased to $36.40 per hour. The person after about 6 days sent me an email money transfer and asked me to withdraw it from my bank and deposit it to a customer account. The email money transfer was fraudulent. This is clearly a scam. Desired Settlement: I want full payment for my time which was 8 full days of employment at $27.50 per hour - total $1760.00 CAD. I supplied full reports to this individual during my time employed. I have not been paid.

Regards,

Review: I have been the victim of a scam from a company called International Community Learning Center [redacted]) recently and would like to report it for enforcement. Following a free classified ad that I saw on [redacted] (Calgary, Canada) 2014 from the International Community Learning Center, (a Virginia-based company that claims to create or host exchange programs for international students at affordable prices) for a Research Manager that promised to pay $27.50 during probation period (three weeks) and once the probation period was over, it said that it would offer $36.40, I applied and I got the position on Jan 30, 2014. On my very first day, I was asked to fill out their employment registration and other necessary forms and provide a copy of my drivers license. I filled out all their necessary forms, scanned them and e-mailed them back to [redacted].The only person whom I was dealing with to perform my job day to day was [redacted], Supervising Manager who asked me to create a [redacted] so that he could track down my hours and provide him my bank account so that I could cover my business expenses, which I did. Next, he gave me three research based assignments, the assignments were geared to attract foreign students to come and study in Calgary, Canada. The first assignment I was given 5 days (on my very first day), the second and third one I was given four days to finish off. He reminded me often to complete them on time, which I did. [redacted] seemed to be very happy with my first research assignment and he acknowledged it via IM.In the mean time, [redacted] had me sent an email money transfer of $2700.00 on Feb 13, 2014 and had asked me to deposit the whole amount to a bank account of a guy named [redacted] on the same day saying the money would be used to pay off the rents of his incoming students in Calgary that were planning to come in on the second week of Feb 2014 . I did the job accordingly. On Feb 14, [redacted] had me sent again an emAfter an hour later, I felt that there was no point for me to waste my time with this scamming company anymore. As a result, I submitted my resignation letter to [redacted] via email. [redacted] didnt both me to reply back to me neither via email/IM or phone after he received my email. As of now, I got no payment from this company and it seems that they used me to attract their students in Canada and once they came to Canada to study, the company just cheated on me.Desired Settlement: Id like to get compensated for my hours that I put on for them (120 hours at $27.60 hour) and at the same time, I would like to see them get punished for their terrible injustice, harassment and mental torture that I had to go through.

Review: On February 7, 2014 I was hired by ICLC. I signed an agreement to work for 3 weeks under a probation period @ $15.50. During the course of the these 3 weeks I completed tasks and training. During my probation period I was asked to fax all legal documents to ICLC to complete the hiring process. On February 14, 2014 I was notified by my bank fraudulent activity took place. ON February 21, 2013 [redacted] messaged me and the message read, "my paycheck will be mailed on February 28th". Then on February 24, 2014 I received a text from the bank with an authorization code to change my bank ID and password. I did not request this change. About 5 minutes after receiving the text I received a message fro [redacted] from ICLC asking me if I received a text. I replied, "yes, why?" I never received a response from him. During the week of February 24, 2014 (my last probation week) I never heard from [redacted]. I had reached out to him on many occasions asking about my probation, pay, & benefits. He ignored all messages. He ever ignored all phone calls. Therefore, not honoring our employment agreement. During my last week I still submitted my training and completed all tasks. As of today I still haven't received my paycheck.Desired Settlement: I worked 120 hours at $15.50 during my probation period. I would like to receive a paycheck in the amount of $1860.00
