Hello the clarification was whether I am a consumer of the company and whether I had a direct transaction with them I am not a consumer of the company I paid the bill for the Syrian Refugee Family we sponsor They are consumers of the company So, yes, I had a direct
transaction with them, from my account to theirs, which took tries to complete since their representative would not call me back I believe they did this on purpose to try to get the Syrian Family into position to charge them a late fee

Progress Management adamantly denies that the current water practice is predatory in nature. Progress Management has been analyzing the water and sewer charges over the last several years and is familiar with the Resident Utility Billing System also known as RUBS. In our analysis we have found that converting to a RUBS system would actually raise the tenant's utility bill due to the fact that the RUBS system would include a trash fee, administrative fee and a late fee that is set by the management company. All of which with our current practice are not assessed to the resident. As you may be aware the cost of water continues to increase, and each time that happens Progress Management has absorbed the increase, adding yet another value to our residents.Progress Management understands that the flat fee service is not common practice in the multifamily housing industry; however we are confidant that this method offers a better value to our tenants.In regards to the claim that our tenants are misinformed, that is also a misconception. Upon move in all residents are provided a written lease that includes information explaining the flat fee for water. In specific reference to our refugee tenants, we are proud to be able to provide housing for those that are in need. The representatives of the refugee organizations accompany and assist the families throughout the entire process starting from the point of applying for the apartment all the way thru the date of move in and beyond.In your pursuit of a desired settlement we believe that you will find that the very reason you are advocating for will result in a method that will ultimately be more expensive for our tenants creating the opposite effect of the very goal you're after.We also believe that open communication is key to a successful working relationship.
